"I know, now close your eyes." She knew he was new to this in more ways than one, and it made her smile. She waited for his eyes to close and picked up her wand and cast several spells with expert precision. One potion was for his rib to finish healing, the other had been for his leg and her spells had finished the job on his leg. She was just waiting for the potions to finish taking effect.
While his eyes were closed however she took advantage of the moment to look at the man, as a man. He really was handsome in a dangerous and yet adorable way if you didn't mind his temperament, which she didn't. And his legs were strong, sturdy and muscular. As the potion finally began to sink in, she slowly wrapped her hands around his leg and pulled it straight with a hidden strength that if you looked at her would have been unexpected. The awkward angle of his leg straightened out and she smiled.
Then she walked slowly to his head and leaned down to kiss his the corner of his lips so light that it would have been a feather of a touch. "Open your eyes now Alastor." She smiled down at him glad that he had stuck around and glad that he had trusted her.. he might not have that limp after all now. "Now was that so terrible to stick around for?"

As Alastor lay there his eyes closed with Grace doing only Merlin knows what above him, he realized that maybe telling her he trusted her was not such a good idea. As he felt her hands upon his leg he smiled, her touch was gentle yet strong and the pains he had been feeling since the dreaded day on the Isle of Skye were now gone. Alastor had never met a woman who was so dedicated, so caring as Grace was, it was no wonder he had begun to trust her.
Mediwitch's like Danielle he knew could be tortured and possibly convinced to betray their calling for the dark arts but he knew Grace well enough to know nothing short of death would cause her to stop wanting to heal the pain of the wizarding world. Feeling just the lightest of touches against the corner of his lip, he smiled as she asked him to open his eyes. Opening his eyes and sitting up he looked over at Grace as he began to press on the area of the rib that had been broken and realized all pain had vanished. "Grace, dear that was a lot of things, but terrible was not one of them. You have a true gift for healing dear heart."
Hopping off the bed he approached her and lightly brushed a hand against her cheek. "Now don't forget, tomorrow evening at La Repas Cher i'll be waiting for you dear heart." With a smile and a nod of thanks, he turned and was out the door without a second thought.

Grace watched him smile as she saw the look in his eyes when he'd opened his. And when his hand brushed her cheek, her eyes reflected her blush at his compliment and her stomach felt the butterflies of his touch. She responding inwardly like a school girl and she knew it. How did Alastor Moody manage to catch her off guard and sneak past her professional responses? Somehow she felt special when he was near and she had been surprised that somehow in the space of one evening at work, she had managed to get a date with one Alastor Moody.
And what got to her the most, was that she didn't even see him as an Auror or a patent, even though he was obviously both.. and the latter more often that she would have liked for his own health, but she saw him as a man and one she very much found she had grown to trust and like.
Grace watched him as he walked out of the room after reminding her of their date, as if she'd forget. The moment he was out the door she sank to the table and finally blushed all the way to her toes, a smile playing on her lips.
It took a few minutes before she was able to leave the room and went to finish her rounds, realizing her shift was nearly over for the night.
