Andi closed her eyes and let herself get lost in the kiss. Shifting her position, she leaned closer to him so that she was half sitting on his lap. "I don't want to think about them anymore," she murmured in a low voice. "It's over and done with... I did what I thought was best. I choose you."

Shifting some more, so that she was facing him on his lap, she kissed him again and slowly began to ease him down on his back.

Ted almost sighed into her kiss. It would have been out of contentment, but he held it back in case she misread it. This was the happiness people talked about... a quiet moment that singles everything has suddenly fallen perfectly into place. She was that quiet moment for him.

He let her ease him back, though he wouldn't break contact with her lips. He just needed to touch her, to hold her.
