D.A.D.A. Class 1

[Kris Lupin]

Kris smiled and kissed his cheek, she was trying to keep her mind off of lying, she wished she would know how he would react to her secret. She thought he would dump her if he did know and her friends wouldn't want to hang around her if she told them.

[Sirius Black]

Sirius grinned. "It's gonna be a fun weekend, I promise," he said. "I gotta tell you, I can't wait to get out of here for a little while. I feel like I went from being cooped up in my house to being cooped up here. Hogsmeade's gonna feel like a vacation."

[Kris Lupin]

"Well at least here you're wanted, right?" Kris asked as she nunged him playfully. She knew she wanted him and even loved him but for some reason she felt that a part of her couldn't trust him. She hoped that feeling would go away soon, he was one of the only guys there that she could talk to.

[Sirius Black]

"Yeah, that's true," Sirius agreed, as he picked up a quill and used the feather tip to tickle her under her chin. "I'd definitely rather be here than at home. And of course, people like me here. I mean, look at me, what's not to like?" He gave her a goofy grin.

[Kris Lupin]

Kris giggled as he tickled her chin. "There's nothing not to like." She leaned over and kissed his cheek again, "At least I don't see anything I don't like." She didn't want to mention him flirting with others incase that was the only time.

[Sirius Black]

Sirius laughed. "Well, I think you're pretty great, too," he said, leaning in to kiss the tip of her nose. "I just wish I could be alone with you more, instead of having to waste all this time going to class and stuff. You know what we should do? We should sneak out one night and go up to the astronomy classroom to look at the stars. Astronomy class may be boring, but lying under the stars can be kinda romantic. We could look at the full moon or something."

[Kris Lupin]

The full moon? Why did he have to say the full moon... where is Remus when I need him? She thought as she tried to keep her face from showing the panic she felt inside. "I-it depends on how much homework I have then." At least she didn't have to lie, though before she would have loved to have been with him during the full moon.

[James Potter]

James literally ran down the hall to D.A.D.A class, thinking that he was late. He stopped just outside the door and ran a hair through his hair, and straighted his robes. Finally he took as step into the classroom, realizing that class hadn't even started yet. The deal that he made with Lily was still in effect, so he smiled politely to everyone that was in there. James stopped by the seat next to Lily. "Do you mind if I sit beside you," he asked her quietly.

[Lily Evans]

Lily glanced at James. She knew he was trying to be nicer, but she still didn't really trust him. Still, she had also promised to give him a chance. But that didn't mean she was going to go easy on him.

"Yeah, I guess," she said with a shrug. "It's a free classroom."

[Sirius Black]

Sirius nodded. "Yeah, of course. I guess that's still a couple of weeks from now, so it's hard to plan that far ahead. But it would be nice, you know? Just the two of us, under the stars?"

[Kris Lupin]

"Yeah, it would be nice... maybe we could tonight? Or tomorrow?" Kris used to like seeing the full moon so she could think of her brother but now she hated it. Being a werewolf was ruining her life, she blamed her father and herself.

[Sirius Black]

"Yeah, OK," Sirius said, tickling her chin with the end of his quill again. "Tonight would be good. I'll meet you downstairs in the common room, just after midnight. How's that sound?"

[Kris Lupin]

Kris giggled from the tickle, "It's a date." She said before giving his cheek a peck, she told herself that she wasn't going to worry herself thin or sick.

[Sirius Black]

"Great," Sirius said happily. He leaned in and kissed her on the tip of her nose. "I think it will be fun, looking at the stars without having to identify constellations and all that stuff. Sometimes it's nice to just look at them, without overthinking them, you know?" He grinned. "I can show you the star I'm named after."

[Kris Lupin]

"To me that star was named after you." Kris smiled wishing there was one named after her. She thought it was cool to be named after one.

[James Potter]

James raised an eyebrow. To him she seemed the way she'd always been to him. He was fixing to tell her fine, be that way, and walk off to sit somewhere else, but he thought better of it and shrugged the feeling off. James sat down next to her and looked as his books then up to her. It seemed to be getting a little harder to come up with something to say to her. Why was this happening? It never happened to him before. He was James Potter for crying out loud. He should be able to talk to girls with no problem! James swallowed the lump in his throat. Was he getting nervous around her? He told himself he wasn't and cleared the unsure thoughts from his head. "How are you today Lily," he asked nicely, trying to make small talk with her.

[Sirius Black]

Sirius laughed. "Well, I'll tell you what, love," he said, trailing the tip of the quill along the back of her hand. "When we're looking at the stars tonight, we'll pick out the brightest, prettiest star and name it after you."

[Lily Evans]

Lily heard the catch in James' voice and felt an unexpected stab of pity for him. She still couldn't understand why he insisted on talking to her all the time, but she had to hand it to him, he was definitely persistent.

She gave him a genuine smile. "I'm OK," she replied. "How are you?"

[James Potter]

James returned a smile of his own. The smile wasn't one of his usual 'James Potter' smiles, it was one that he rarely smiled, a real genuine smile. She didn't look at him like he was crazy when he tried talking to her, and that was something to be happy for.

"I'm alright," he replied. "Just trying to get through classes with passing grades, and not have my parents kill me." James absently minded traced his book cover, while still looking at Lily. "I don't really have any trouble until it comes to Herbology and History of Magic. Herbology just goes over my head sometimes, and History of Magic, well, I tend to fall asleep in that class. It's just so boring." He found himself rambling on about nothing special, and he felt his cheeks grow warm, in realization. In fear of blushing in front of her, he looked down to his book and the desk itself.

[Remus Lupin]

Remus hurried into the classroom and looked around. He saw that James was sitting near Lily, and Sirius was sitting with Kris. He wasn't sure where to sit at first, but decided that he didn't really want to listen to whatever Sirius and his sister were talking about. He shrugged and slipped into a seat next to James, but didn't say anything right away, since he and Lily were obviously talking.
