Instead of leading the Minister and Voltaire to Dumbledore's office, Isabella decided to take them to her own office, which was just down the hall from the Headmaster's. "I hope you don't mind talking in my office instead," she said briskly. "I don't feel entirely comfortable in Dumbledore's office without him. Please, have a seat, both of you." She motioned to several chairs near the fireplace.

Erasmus entered the office and took in his surroundings. Being over confindient he sat down in one of the offered chairs and said "He has placed a good deal of trust in you both. A pity it seems that either one of you could handle the collective." he said sitting straight in his chair.

Isabella shot a look at Voltaire. Clearly her suspicion had been correct. "Well, as you know, sometimes it is difficult to control the actions of the reckless and stupid..."

"And when they manage to find some one that is powerful and nearly as stupid it gets to be nearly impossible." Voltaire said glowering at the Minister. Personally he wanted to hex him for visually devoring Isabella with his gaze. "We can still correct the situation, all we need is a bit of time, I think i might have been successful in getting the werewolves to join" he said feeling no pride at all for helping that monster.

"We do regret that two young people had to lose their lives, thanks to the stupidity and recklessness of our two 'associates,' however, both Jake and Delilah will die for their actions," Isabella continued, avoiding the Minister's gaze. She could feel it as if he were physically touching her, and it made her sick.

"Please m'dear! The childrens lives are pointless, I could care less because two rugrats were in the way, But I'm glad you agree that thoes that don't follow the dark lords Orders should be killed, As for the Jake boy, I know for a fact that his death would make the darklord extremly happy, the only reason he hadn't done it was that His army is hardly one at all, Besides Us three, he hardly has faith in his followers. My position is only to keep the People from worrying over much about Dark lords and such" he said laughing charmingly at the end of his words.

Isabella kept her face impartial, but inside she was disgusted to hear the Minister's--and the Dark Lord's--casual disregard for the lives of two children. Instead she addressed the rest of his comment. "Jake is careless, and his behavior is more of a liability to the Dark Lord than anything else. He's likely to get himself or one of us killed for his actions. He needs to die."

Voltaire felt his skin crawl, how dare this guy say that! even if his family wasn't directly in the problem he would still think this man was less than an animal. "It seems so far you've done a good Job of keeping our lord safe and sound from the media" he said with an almost flat tone to his voice.

"So you are unimpressed then? well I have other plans that i shall begin other plans" he said still grinning like the cat that got the cream. "Well do you think Dumbledore is done with the children? It's time we began talking of what exactly we should do...as for that child, down by the lake, what is her name again? i don't think i recall" he said in mock concern, he didn't need a child undermining him much less one with a big mouth.

"Yuna," Isabella said numbly, now barely able to hide her disgust with the man. "What exactly are you planning to do?"

"Oh nothing too complex my dear!" he said laughing jovialy "I remembered that i was giving a proposal to expand the Auror corps and I think i can use that to find better followers." he said ignoring flat tone of voice she used to deliver the girls name. Yuna... he grinned a foul grin.

Isabella felt that if he called her "dear" one more time, she was going to have to hex him. "Well, that sounds reasonable," she said coldly. "Exactly how does that involve us?"

"Ah well Isabella, I was thinking you could help me implicitly, If you could, I'd love for you to head my recuiting activities." he said still smiling. he could tell he was infuriating her and he enjoyed seeing her angry.

She narrowed her eyes at him. "Well, you may be the Minister of Magic, but Lord Voldemort left myself and Voltaire here in charge of things while he was gone. Therefore, for you to suggest that I may assist you is extremely presumptuous of you. I am not aware that your activities are approved by the Dark Lord, and until such time as I hear from him specifically, I'm afraid I cannot give you clearance to do whatever it is you want to do. You see, it was the activities of those who chose to go behind our backs that led us to this little crisis, was it not?"

Voltaire hated Erasmus with a passion and had to physically stop from smiling when Isa gave him a razor speech.

"Oh i do Love it when a Woman takes charge! You are very right my dear! why i don't think the dark lord even had introduced us yet!" he stood from his chair and walked over to Isabella and did a little bow. completely ignoring Voltaire, who was fuming that he was getting near Isabella again. "I think it's best that i go wait for the headmaster now!" he said agrin taking Isabella's hand and kissing it" I'll see you later my dear... eyes have all the seeming of a demon's that is dreaming." he said cyptically, gazing at her eyes for a moment and then left the room shutting the door after him.

Isabella gagged and covered her mouth after he had left. Pulling out her wand, she pointed it at her hand and hissed, "Scourgify!" Yet she still felt dirty. Furiously, she looked at Voltaire and said in a fierce voice, "I hate that man and if he ever touches me again, or calls me 'dear' in that condescending way ever again, they'll have to feed him through his ear."

"Not before I beat him beyond the ablitity to be fed though that ear! What...ARGH There aren't enough cusses and swears to discribe him!" he said unable to express the full force of his anger towards that sleaze, he shook his fists in anger and said "I however would like to applude you on your last speech to him! I thought for certian he was going to get at least ill temptpered!" he said crossing over his chest, but looking easily at Isabella.

"Well, he had me all fired up," she said. "Unfortunately, I do believe he wanted to get me that way." She shuddered. "Voltaire, I'm so glad you were here. You may not have been able to stop him from undressing me with his eyes, but at least he kept his hands off me... mostly. Ugh! He made me feel like a piece of meat!" She walked over to him and put her hand on his cheek. "Do you know... I wished for you, and there you were..." Her voice was soft, and tears shone in her eyes.

"Isa, you don't have to wish for me." he said feeling very serious and a knot form in his chest. just seeing her upset made him feel terrible.
