Isabella put her arms around him and rested her head on his chest, knowing she was only torturing them both by doing so. But it was such sweet torture... "Voltaire, why are we apart?" she whispered. "This is stupid... we'll never be over..."

She closed her eyes and just let him hold her. All the tension seemed to melt from her body and the queasy sensation in her stomach eased up at last. She tried to concentrate on everything... the feel of his arms around her, the sound of his breathing and his heart beating beneath her head. This was the way it was supposed to be. Just the two of them together. She wanted to freeze that moment, and just make it last forever. "I love you," she whispered.

"I love you too,Isa. " he said smelling the scent of her hair, the feel of her waist in his arms and how her breathing rose and fell against his chest. "I wish for this everyday" he said closing his eyes and wrapping his arms around her a little closer.
