In the need of a drink...... or two

[Evangeline James]

"I've heard of him, although, I can't really say I have talked to him much," said Evangeline. "Right now, I suppose it's pretty wide open at who's going to run. I just hope some deatheater doesn't get it, like Craven."

[Cassidy LaRose]

"Yeah, I know. He was so creepy," Cassidy agreed. "Do you know, one time I was in the lift with him alone at the Ministry? He just stared at me with this creepy look on his face. And when he got out, I swear I heard him mumbling something about someone named Lenore. I don't say this about many people, but I'm glad he's dead. Hopefully now we can get someone to replace him who will do a good job."

[Evangeline James]

Evangeline laughed. "Yeah, Craven had to be the creepiest man ever," said Evangeline. "I hope we don't have some one who thinks he can get any woman he wants, or will do everything his way, and not think about what others think about his actions."

[Cassidy LaRose]

"I know what you mean," Cassidy said. "It would also be cool if a woman were to run. I don't know who would be good for it, but it would be interesting." She took a sip of her drink. "But I guess the most important thing right now is to have a strong leader. Someone who can actually help bring down Vol... well, you know... before he gets too powerful. If he hasn't already..."

[Evangeline James]

"That's true," said Evangeline. "Although, I dunno if we'll have a minister like that. Maybe there'll be one willing to work closely with the aurors to attempt to bring him down. I dunno how well that would end up, but I suppose it's worth a shot." Evangeline looked around for a second. "Well, life is back to normal, for now. What do you say to going out this weekend? Or, if you don't want to, that's fine too. I suppose I could catch up on some reading that I haven't done in awhile."

[Cassidy LaRose]

"Oh, no... that sounds like fun. I don't know what we can do... probably just this. But I don't want you to be lonely. And I need to get out more. So, yeah, we can do something." She sighed. "I really can't believe that guy did that to you. I know not all guys are like that, why do you have such bad luck?"

[Evangeline James]

"I don't know. I've just chosen the bad ones. But, it's okay. I'm going to be more careful about who I meet," said Evangeline. "I'm not lonely. Don't worry about that. I can always find something to do. You know how that goes."

[Cassidy LaRose]

"I know," Cassidy replied. "I just feel bad about what happened to you. It seems like these things always happen to you. Unlike me, of course, since, well... I never really got close to any guys. I've never had a boyfriend or anything. Remember that guy I had such a big crush on back at school? I never did anything about it at all. So... this thing with Tyler... it kinda scares me. Sometimes when I'm with him I don't want to leave. I've never felt like that with a guy before."

[Evangeline James]

"Aw," said Evangeline. She reached over and gave Cassidy a hug. "Look, I tell you what. We'll make guys notice you. Not that they already do, but we're going to make them notice you more. I promise it won't be nothing whorish or anything like that. But about Tyler. That's a good thing you feel that way! Don't be scared. You have to just act like nothing's wrong. Maybe flirt with him a little. If he flirts back, then that's a good sign. If not, that fine too."

[Cassidy LaRose]

Cassidy widened her eyes. "Flirt with him? Oh... no, I couldn't do that. I don't even know how to flirt. And besides... if I start acting in a way that's not me, won't he be suspicious?" But she had to admit, she liked the idea of dressing up a little to make him notice her more. Maybe if she actually looked good, she'd feel more confident.

[Evangeline James]

"It's easy," said Evangeline. "I don't think he'll be suspicious. You don't have to make flirting obvious. Just make it subtle, to fit you. Maybe when you're standing close to him, maybe brush his hand or something, but make it look accidental. Something along those lines. You won't be acting any different really."

[Cassidy LaRose]

Cassidy shook her head. "Oh, no... I don't know if I could do that. Well, not on purpose, anyway." She blushed as she remembered touching Tyler's cheek after Vincent had punched him in the eye. But of course, then, she'd been helping him with his injury. It had made sense to touch him then. "What if he doesn't like me that way? Like I'm just the girl who'd helping him with is case, and that's all?"

[Evangeline James]

"Well, there's more out there," said Evangeline. "But I mean, who knows, he may. You have to just be subtle about finding out, unless of course you want to go the whole little school girl act and want me to ask him for you. I wouldn't have a problem with that," she said with a grin. "Although, I couldn't do that without your permission. But, I think you can do it. I mean you probably already flirt with him, and you don't even know it. Do you get close to him alot?"

[Cassidy LaRose]

Cassidy blushed and stared down at the counter. "Well... not a lot, exactly... but a couple of times. See, I was over at his house, and Vincent came over and punched him... I was just helping him with his injury..." She looked up at Evangeline and smiled slightly. "I kind of liked being close to him..."

[Evangeline James]

"Well, try and get close to him a lot," said Evangeline. "Maybe find someway you can. Say, you drop something, wait for him to bend down to pick it up, and then you do so afterwards. Or something like that. But why excatly did Vincent go and punch Tyler?"

[Cassidy LaRose]

Cassidy blushed. "Well... maybe I can try that," she said nervously. She frowned as Evangeline mentioned Vincent. "Oh, you know, it was just about the article. He still isn't ready to forgive Tyler for what happened to Emily. I wish I could find a way to prove Tyler was under the Imperius Curse and had no choice...." She sighed. "I'm going to mess this up, I just know it..."

[Evangeline James]

"No, you're not going to mess this up," said Evangeline looking seriously at Cassidy. "You can't be negative about this. Cassidy, you will make things better. I promise. It'll just be awhile before everything comes clear. I'm behind you all the way. You will win this case. I'm serious."

[Tristan Collins]

Tristan walked into the Hog's Head. He was in a particularly bad mood tonight, and really just wanted to get good and drunk. Unfortunately, the first person he saw as he walked toward the bar was Evangeline. She was standing with another girl, and they seemed to be talking. He quickly ducked out of sight and hoped she hadn't seen him.

[Evangeline James]

Evangeline had flashed Cassidy a smile and out of the corner of her eye, she caught a glimpse of brown hair. She glanced that way and saw Tristan, the last person she wanted to see, just before he ducked out of the way. Evangeline glanced back towards Cassidy and gave her a frown, before walking in the direction of where she saw Tristan. Finally she came up to him, and she tried to find the nerve to say something. "So Collins, find you someone else yet," she finally said a little coldly.

[Tristan Collins]

Tristan looked up at Evangeline and gulped. "Evangeline... hi," he said, trying to smile. "What do you mean? Why would I have found someone else? I've just been... busy lately. You know... working at the hospital..."
