"I think maybe Fenrir believes it...but it doesn't make any sense to me...why would he want that? he's always said we belonged outside of the world..." Pearl to say the least was confused of her adoptive father's actions would he really hide his true motives from her and for so long? it hurt her heart to think such a thing was true.

Pearl frowned. She took everything he said with a grain of salt...or more. It was true what he said, or she would of been able to answer Skye's questions and not have so many of her own.

"Well, i'm glad you found me...Fenrir...use to at least check in with all of us. Now I feel as though he would have us run into our graves." said Pearl sadly "I had no idea of how many abandoned pups Fenrir had, or so many he tore away from homes and families...maybe even myself included." she said admitting that maybe, she did have a home and was human before.

Zander saw that Pearl was getting upset, and he felt a little guilty. He knew that, despite everything, she thought of Greyback as a father, and he didn't like turning her against him, even though Greyback himself had really done that. He decided to change the subject. "OK, well, why don't I order us that food now, huh? How about fish and chips all around?"

Pearl numbly nodded her head. a feeling so overwhelming took over in her heart...she felt like a clawed hand was squeezing her heart... she thought she had mattered to Fenrir...She remembered being a pup and he'd swing her over fences and things so they could keep moving. or how'd he throw her into the air and catch her, Of course she had always laughed. Now her mind thought maybe he had done those things for other reasons...to be cruel and she just had always misunderstood his cruelty as a father playing with his child.

Zander gave Pearl a quick kiss. He felt he would need to talk more about this to her later, but she seemed a bit overwhelmed for now. He waved over a waitress. "Could I get three fish and chips platters and three glasses of pumpkin juice?" He frowned slightly, knowing he could barely afford this.

Skye reached over and gave Pearl a hug. "Maybe it's just the influence of the Snake Man," she said softly. "He used to be different... Once I got adjusted to the pack, he was very considerate to me. I can't believe he's always been this bad. Maybe the Snake man has corrupted him?"

"I don't know...I know it's hard being human...Me and Zander have it hard to get by...I didn't realize how much money it takes to be human...Fenrir was different before...but i don't know when he changed... i can't decide if it was before the Snake man, or after or if that dead woman, you remeber her right? if she did something... I don't know" she said ducking her head down. "The sooner we can talk to chloe, I'm sure the sooner we'll be to finding out who Fenrir was or is." she said wiping her eyes.

"I'm not sure when it happened, either," Skye said. "I feel like maybe it happened a while ago and we just never knew it. But I think the snake man makes him worse. I just know that he wasn't always this way. There are some in the pack who are agreeing with him, too. It frightens me to see our family speaking such hateful words."

"It's a terrible place right now... We have to get everyone that doesn't agree away from there now. I know it will be very hard..I'm still having troble myself...but I taught you all to be wolves, I will teach you all to be humans, at least partically. we can't replace what we are, but we can at least fit in to the world. I know now that we aren't outsiders, but if we want to be, we have to work like everyone else." she said with conviction as she finished wiping her tears.

Karl walked into the Three Broomsticks, as Chloe had called it. Chloe was right next to him, and he stopped to sniff around for a minute. When he caught a whiff of Pearl and Skye's scents, he took Chloe by the hand and led her over to the table where Zander, Pearl, and Skye were sitting. "Pearl, Skye, Zander!" he said excitedly. "This is Chloe."

"Karl!" said Pearl standing, she embraced him quickly and said "Chloe!" and did the same to her, "Come sit down, we have alot to talk about don't we?" she said shoring up her own troubles for a different time. now it was time to help the pack.

"I don't know how easy that's going to be. David had said something about he was supposed to lead a group of Fenrir's pack. Maybe he can talk to them and get them to go ahead and turn against Fenrir, and attack him as he tries to go through with his planned attack," said Chloe. "I still don't know when the attack is supposed to take place. David never said. I think he was going to try and talk to him and see when it's going to take place," she said shrugging.
