Emily blushed a little. "Yeah, I've always done that. I always tuck my feet under me too." she said shrugging. "I don't think it's shallow that you like your hair. At least you don't stand infront of a mirror and flex your muscles and admire how buff you are, right?" said Emily slightly smiling.

"No, I don't do that!" he said quickly. "Or, well.. not anymore." He laughed. "I mean, OK, when I was a little younger, yeah... I was a little vain... but I'm much better now. It's just the hair..." He flushed red. "I guess we all have our hangups, right?" He took another long sip of brandy. "Uh, so should we order some food?"

Emily laughed. "Yeah, we all have our hangups. I guess we should, I'm getting kind of hungry." she said smiling.

He looked down at the menu. "I hear the shepherd's pie is really good here," he said. "I think I'll get that. How about you?"

"Never heard of it, but I'll try it too." Emily said shrugging. "I never really eat out, so yea, I don't know what's good or anything, so I'll take your word on it." she said smiling.

"OK, cool," he said. He nodded at the waitress, who was walking toward them. "We'll have two of the shepherd's pie," he said. Then he turned back to Emily. "So, tell me more about your days at Hogwarts."

"Oh dear. Um, well, I was the 'good student', meaning always did my class work and stuff. I was good with the teachers, so if I did anything 'wrong' they'd let it slip by, except for this one time I got detention, and I didn't even do the prank. I was out at Quidditch practice and the kid blamed me and the new teacher gave me detention, even though I was all the way out at the quidditch pitch, and I couldn't have done it. I mean I was just a normal kid, chaser on the Gryffindor team and I finished in the top 2 of my year." said Emily drinking some more of her firewhiskey.

"Well, that's cool," he said. "I was OK in school, got into some trouble, but I did OK. I was terrible in potions, though, I had to have a tutor to help me through it so I could get a good enough OWL score to become an Auror. I still just barely passed my Auror test."

"Yikes. I loved potions." said Emily laughing.

"Well, you know, I guess it's like I said earlier, we all have our hang-ups. Potions just wasn't my thing. But I got through it," he added, sipping his brandy.

"True." said Emily smiling. "Jeez, I smile a lot." she muttered to herself. "Well, our food is here." commented Emily. When the waitress sat her plate down she thanked her and took a another drink of her firewhiskey.

"That's OK. You have a nice smile," he said. He smiled back at her, then took a bite of his shepherd's pie.

"Um, thanks." said Emily smiling back it him. She started to eat her pie. "So how's the thing with Greyback going?"

"Well, I've got that idiot Jake looking for him still. I have reason to suspect that Jake might not be in this for the right reasons, though. I'm afraid he might not really be on our side."

You can say that again thought Emily. "Interesting." said Emily. "Jake was never trustworthy anyway." she said.

"So you've met Jake, have you?" he said. "I've been a bit suspicious about him from the start, but he works with Voltaire, whom I trust. I guess I rather thought Voltaire could keep him in line. Still, I think I'll need to have a chat with him."

"Yeah, Voltaire tries to keep him in line, or at least from what I heard. Jake is just, I don't know. He's just a strange little kid." commented Emily.

"Yeah, I talked to his twin brother earlier at Zonko's, remember? You ran into me there. He said he thought Jake was interested in Dark Magic and that he supported Voldemort." He sighed. "It's getting so it's hard to know who to trust. Do you know Voltaire?"

"To an extent I know Voltaire." said Emily nodding. "I wouldn't doubt if Jake did support Voldemort. Jake maybe looking for someone to protect him, and there you go, he goes crawling to Voldemort." said Emily shrugging. "That's just my theory."

Vincent took another bite of his food. "That does sound very likely, based on what I've noticed of him," he said. He hesitated for a moment, then said. "I... I know we're here to talk business, but I don't want to waste my night talking about Jake. Tell me... tell me more about you." He found her fascinating.
