Just Looking Around

[Landon Travis]

Landon opened the door to Honeydukes and immediately knew he had walked into the candy capital of the wizarding world. The place was pretty big. Much bigger than he had imagined. And it was packed with candy. He walked over to a wall on his left and looked at packages of licorice wands, Bertie Bott's every flavor beans, and so much more. He just browsed around the store, waiting for Rori to arrive.

[Rori Logan]

Rori entered Honeydukes looking around at the candy and saw Landon. She walked up behind him and tapped him on the shoulder. "Hey Landon!" she said grinning.

[Landon Travis]

Landon turned around and grinned, "Hey. So...how good are these things?" He asked, randomly, looking at a package of Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, "They look cool."

[Rori Logan]

"Yeah, they're good. Just pray you don't get the vomit flavored ones." said Rori wrinking up her nose. "Talk about something nasty. The earwax ones aren't so bad. They sort of taste like lemons to me." she said shrugging.

[Landon Travis]

Landon laughed, "I think I'll try them just for the experience...What do you like? Like which candies are your favorite?" He asked, trying to get an idea of what he might like to try without having a life-changing experience.

[Rori Logan]

"I live for chocolate." said Rori grinning. "And I love Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans. Then again, I'm not really picky on candy."

[Landon Travis]

Landon laughed, "I'm not a huge fan of chocolate. I mean, I like it and everything...but not too much of it. And I really don't like dark chocolate. Its too bitter for me. But anyways, I think I will try a few of these chocolate frogs, and maybe some licorice wands. God, there's so much to choose from..." He smiled, looking at all the candy.

[Rori Logan]

"Yes there is." said Rori picking up a few items. "Speaking of dark chocolate, that's actually one thing I won't eat, other than that, I'll eat almost anything."

[Landon Travis]

"Yeah, its pretty much the same here. If its edible, and doesn't look utterly disgusting, you know, why not?" Landon replied, grinning. He grabbed a pack of fizzing whizbees and looked at them.

[Rori Logan]

"Those are good." said Rori. "I swear one day Honeydukes is gonna make me give them all my money."

[Landon Travis]

Landon laughed, "Yeah, I might as well just try a bit of everything." He grinned, putting the pack of fizzing whizbees in his basket. "So are all the shops in Hogsmeade this cool?" He asked her, smiling.

[Rori Logan]

"Yes, they are. All though, The Hog's Head is not really somewhere I like to be. Rough looking people go there. People about twice my size go there. So it's not my kind of place." said Rori shrugging. "My favorite shop, other than this one of course is Zonko's." she said with a grin. "Although I think it's shut down cause of the new owner had done something. I heard he had to do something with the night Ian and Niame died."

[Landon Travis]

"Wait...the owner of what had something to do with the death of who? And who?" Landon stopped her, feeling lost. He really didn't know much about the wizarding world. "Sorry, I'm new to all this stuff..." He chuckled.

[Rori Logan]

Rori laughed. "Yeah. How bout I'll explain it to you over some butterbeer? I'll give you the not so confusing version."

[Landon Travis]

"Butterbeer! Now that's something I've heard of!" Landon grinned, "Lemme go pay for this and I'll see if I still have any remaining money for butterbeer." He joked, taking his heavy basket up to the front counter and paying for the items, burning quite a large whole in his pocket.

[Rori Logan]

Rori tossed a couple of coins on the counter for her stuff and walked out the door, holding it open for Landon to come out. "The Three Broomsticks is just across the street." she said grinning.

[Landon Travis]

"Okay, sounds cool." Landon replied, walking out of Honeydukes and heading for the building with the sign pointing to the pub that said "The Three Broomsticks". The place was moderately crowded with all sorts of different wizards and witches. Some he cringed and shuddered at the sight of, while the others seemed to be nice and normal.

[Rori Logan]

Rori laughed at Landon cringing. "They're really nice people." she said laughing and sitting at a table. Rori ordered two butterbeers. "Ok, so on with the story. Niame was a seventh year Gryffindor and Ian was a seventh year Hufflepuff, and Lucie's boyfriend. Niame, Ian, and Lucie were all out at Hogsmeade one night, because I ran into them, while I was looking for my cousin Voltaire, the dueling professor, but this was before he became the dueling professor and before Voltaire and Isabella got married. Anyway, we stopped and talked for a second, and then I went one way, while they went another. This vampire lady named, Delilah, and some guy who looked like Jake, came up to them. I heard some yelling, so I went back and saw Niame die, then Ian die, saving Lucie from the death curse. I hid the best I could. Delilah made a tree fall, and it fell on me, then I passed out. But Delilah escaped and so did the real Jake. Jake's brother, I don't remember what his name is, is the new owner of the Joke Shop, Zonko's. The owner is Jake's twin brother, and the brother got sent to Azkaban, so the Joke Shop is closed."

[Landon Travis]

Landon raised his eyebrows, "Wow. That's sad. How's Lucie been coping with the whole thing?" He asked, looking down at the ground, thinking about the story.

[Rori Logan]

"Well, she's had her moments, but she's doing much better." said Rori nodding her head. "Lucie claims sometimes that she sees Ian's ghost. I mean I haven't seen anything, but I don't really doubt her one bit, because just about everything in the wizarding world is possible."
