Just Looking Around

[Landon Travis]

"Wow...Natalie's a seer? That's pretty cool. I met her the other day. And Severus too. They were both a bit odd though, and shy." Landon replied. He was learning knew things by the minute...

[Rori Logan]

"Yeah. Severus is really cool. I don't really know Natalie that well, but she seems pretty cool too. Severus is the one that makes me a potion so that I can have a dreamless sleep at night." said Rori smiling.

[Landon Travis]

"That's cool. He seems like he'd be pretty cool once you get to know him." Landon nodded in agreement. He took another sip of his butterbeer, finishing it. "Ah, man! Its all gone..." He frowned. He quickly ordered another one and looked out the window as he waited. "Hey! What's that one house? It looks familiar." He asked, looking out into the distance at the Shrieking Shack.

[Rori Logan]

"That is the Shrieking Shack." said Rori looking in the direction Landon was. She finished up her butterbeer and put the mug on the table. "If you want to take a good look at it, we can. It's supposed to be the most haunted house in London, although I don't really think it's haunted." said Rori shrugging.

[Landon Travis]

"Sounds interesting....You wanna check it out?" Landon asked, looking at it thoughtfully.

[Rori Logan]

"Sure, we don't have anything else to do." said Rori standing up and pushing her chair under. "After you."

[Landon Travis]

Landon walked out, and looked over at the eerie-looking, Shrieking Shack. "So...have you ever been inside?" He asked, walking towards it with her.

[Rori Logan]

"No, I can't say that I have been inside. I don't think there are any doors from the outside though." said Rori.

[Landon Travis]

"Well, maybe we could find a way in?" Landon grinned. "It'd be cool to check out..." He shrugged.

[Rori Logan]

"Alright." said Rori nodding. "Although I don't wanna break any windows."

[Landon Travis]

Landon grinned, "Okay, we won't. But there's gotta be some way in..." He replied, looking around the building.

[Rori Logan]

"Yeah, I know there's an entrance, somewhere, but I just don't know where. If you can't get in from the outside, you have to get in from the inside, some how. Sorry if that sounds like nonsense." said Rori.

[Landon Travis]

Landon laughed, "No problem." He continued to scan the building, looking around the base of it and everything. He saw a wooden board at the very bottom of the building, closest to the ground, sticking out father than the others surrounding it. He bent down to it and pulled at it gently. It wiggled a little bit, confirming that it was loose. It was about a foot and a half tall and 2 feet long. Maybe just long enough for someone to fit through.... "Hey, Rori! Come here!"

Rori walked over and bent down beside Landon. "What in the world?" she said.

"The board is loose. We could pull it back and someone could crawl through, into the shack." Landon grinned. "It has a ton of scratch marks and stuff on the other side of the board...like someone from the inside was trying to loosen it. You wanna try it?" He asked

[Rori Logan]

"Sure I don't see why not." said Rori squeezing through the little hole.

[Landon Travis]

Landon waited for her to get through and then got down on the ground and slid through the hole too. He dusted himself off and looked around the room they had crawled into. It looked pretty bare. There was a slightly ripped up, thin cushion on the ground and a chair near the far wall. The room looked a whole lot bigger with nothing in it. All the walls looked scratched and dented. "Wow...this is weird. What's with the walls?"

[Rori Logan]

Rori remembered her conversation with Remus, and how she promised not to say anything. "Uh, I dunno." said Rori shrugging.

[Landon Travis]

"I'd say someone's been in here recently..." Landon commented, looking at the walls. He went up a flight of stairs and into a smaller room, where the wood creaked at almost every step. It was filled with a bed and a desk and everything. There weren't as many scratches on the wall either.

[Rori Logan]

"What ever did this is mighty strong." said Rori noticing a door pulled off the hinges. Rori looked out the window. "Hey you can sort of see Hogwarts from here."
