Lily was the first to arrive. She was feeling so excited and hopeful about this school year; she hoped it would be better than the last year. She carried her trunk onto the train and found a nice compartment near the front. Then she stowed her trunk and took a book out of her purse. She sighed happily as she sat down by the window and begain to read.

Rori was excited to be heading back to Hogwarts. Hopefully this year would be better off than last year. Rori carried her truck onto the train, looking for a compartment. There was no one on the train that Rori saw, until she noticed red hair. She smiled and walked into the compartment. "Hey Lily! Do you mind if I sit with you?"

Katie finally made it to the train. She was relieved to be heading back to Hogwarts. Maybe now it wouldn't be so boring, much like her summer. Katie noticed two girls already on the train, but passed them by, finding her own empty compartment and putting her trunk up in the rack, then sitting down and leaning against the window.

Narcissa headed towards the train. This year she'd be pretty much alone. Both Lucius and Bella graduated right as summer started. Maybe Justine would be pretty reasonable, and of course there was always Severus. He was always pretty cool. Narcissa scoffed as she headed towards an empty compartment. She didn't want to sit anywhere near them. Cissa headed towards the back of the train and settled into an empty compartment putting her trunk above her. She sank into the sit and sighed.

Robin arrived at the train station with her mother and sister. Hannah was laughing and pointing at the people all around her, many of whom were carrying trunks and owl cages. As they passed through the barrier onto Platform 9 3/4, Hannah yelled out "I wanna go Hogwarts!"
"You can't, Hannah. You're too young." And you can't do magic, Robin thought..
"Wanna go now!" yelled Hannah.
"Shhh!" Robin hissed. "People will hear you. You can't go."
Hannah began to cry loudly, and her mother picked her up and tried to calm her down. "Robin, be nice to your sister," she said sternly.
"What did I say? Mom, you know she can't go. She's only 4," Robin said.
"I know, but you need to be nicer about it."
"Fine," Robin said, annoyed. She put her arms around both of them. "I'll miss you both. I promise I'll write every week."
Then she took her trunk and other supplies and dragged them onto the train. She turned and waved to them for a moment, then moved through the train to find a compartment to sit in. She selected a compartment near the back, which was empty. After putting away her trunk, she sat down and looked out the window.

Justine had taken a cab to the train station. No one at the orphanage even had the time to drive her. She walked through the station on her own, dragging her trunk behind her. Finally she made it to Platform 9 3/4. She noticed enviously as the other students said goodbye to their families. She wished she had a family of her own. Sighing, she dragged her trunk onto the train and walked through, looking for a good compartment. She spotted Narcissa sitting in an otherwise empty compartment, and she paused for a minute, trying to decide if she wanted to sit with her or not. Finally, she took a deep breath and said, "Hey, Narcissa, mind if I sit here?"

Narcissa heard someone speak and turned towards the door. "Hey Justine. I don't see why you can't. I'm not expecting anyone, so join me. It's a long ride to Hogwarts and I don't think you don't want to be sitting with someone really annoying do you, plus too, you're a Slytherin, and not annoying, so you're welcome to sit."

Gia got on the train, her trunk floating along behind her with the use of a levitation charm. She peered into some of the compartments as she went, hoping to find Katie. Finally she found her, sitting alone in a compartment. "Hey," she said. "Mind if I join you?"

Jason got on the train and immediately began to look for Justine. He found her sitting with Narcissa Black. "Hey, Jus," he said, leaning over to kiss her cheek. "What's up?"
Andrea got on the train a little while later. She was in a rotten mood as always, having been forced to carry her own trunk and appear in public with her stupid Hufflepuff brother. She found the compartment with several Slytherins, and dragged her trunk in and sat down across from Jason. Then she proceeded to scowl bitterly at all of them.

Natalie got on the train. It seemed silly to her to have to take the Hogwarts Express to Hogwarts, when she lived 15 minutes away from the school in Hogsmeade. But her father had insisted that she take the train, at least for the first year. Her dad helped her load her trunk onto the train, and she gave him a quick kiss goodbye. Then she wandered along to look for a good place to sit. She had planned to sit alone, but she felt some positive feelings about the girls in the first compartment. One was a pretty redhead, and the other had blondish hair. "Um, can I sit with you?" she asked.

Severus Snape climbed onto the train, wrestling with his old trunk and robes, unlike the years' previous robes that had been too short, these were rather too long. Camp hadn't been exciting in the least. Maybe staying at home wouldn't of been so dull! at least he could pretend at home to get away and do something else besides 'camp activities' Being such a young Slytherin hadn't helped either, most in his house had other much more 'adult' or rather other idiocies to pursue rather than to give him anymore useful information or spells. He grumbled and walked down the compartments, spying one with Lily Evans in it. He shook his head, why did he remember her name? it's not like she was nice at all to him, or even that memorable. but he still lingered outside her compartment, Spotting Natalie there too. He wanted to join her, but didn't want to intrude either.

Natalie nodded at Lily. "Hi, Lily, it's nice to meet you." Glancing up, she spotted Severus in the doorway and waved to him. "Severus!" she called. "Please, come in and sit with us. It's OK with you, right?" she asked Rori and Lily.
