It was a typical, rainy english morning. Business people hurried about the platforms, their laptops and briefcases clutched under their arms. Mystie charged down the platforms, her trolley clattering. She pulled out her ticket and read it again, for the gazillionenth time within about 5 minutes.
"9 3/4?" She muttered, looking from platform nine to platform ten. There was clearly no platform nine and three quarters.
Frowning to herself, and walked up to the barrier between nine and ten. Was this some sort of trick? If it was, it was a cetainly very mean trick. She stuck out her bottom lip and leant on the barrier. Mystie almost screamed. Her whole arm had just passed through the barrier! Smiling, she checked thaqt there were no muggles about, before walking completely through it, hauling her trolley along behind her.
The Hogwarts Express was already at the platform, and Mystie coughed in the thick smoke billowing from the funnel-thing. Looking up at the giant, old-fashioned, cast-iron clock, she knew that she was running late. It was just about eleven o'clock, and the porter person was helping a last person onto the train, and was starting to close the doors.
Mystie held her breath and charged up to the train. She was not oging to miss it. The porter rolled his eyes comicaly and helped her gte her luggage onto the train.
"You're lucky," He said, passing Mystie the owl cage. "A couple of seconds laster and you would have been left here."
Mystie thanked him and made her way into an empty compartment. It wasn't very busy on the train today, due to the fact that it was already nearly the end of term. Mystie sat herself down in the compartment, and opened her owl cage.
What a pathetic looking owl... She thought, watching her small, scruffy black ball of feathers hop around in the air.
She laughed to herself and opened her kitten's cage. The kitten looked an awful like the owl. It was small, black, and feeble looking, and it was just as hyped up as the owl. It was quite a site. Two fluffy black balls of fur tearing around the compartment. Mystie couldn't help laughing.
She was on her way to Hogwarts!
