Bek was not a "wake up at midnight" type of girl. So when the time for class came, it took all her might to trudge up the stairs of the astronomy tower. She dragged her feet over to a stool and plunked down, beginning her work. But quickly, Bek fell back to sleep, her eye on the telescope.

Joesph observed his students quietly as they worked. He believed in quietness was the surrounding to working well.
Noticing the time, he cleared his throat loudly. "Class is dismissed as long as you are finished drawing your charts. Please hand them to me on your way out. I also ask that you read in your Astronomy books the first half of the second chapter, for it will be what we are working on for the next class. Thank you."

Gage finished his chart and brought it up to Professor Carmichael. He saw Bek sound asleep at her telescope and gently prodded her awake. "Cummon Bek," he said. "Wake up, time for bed."

Bek groaned and sat up, she had finished her chart just befor falling asleep, and she let Gage help her stand up. Together she passed in her chart and left the class with Gage.
