After his talk with Kris, Remus had run inside, then began wandering around the school. He eventually ended up in the owlery and decided to send a message to his father. Reaching into his robe pockets, he found an old piece of parchment and the rose he had transfigured from a quill. He transfigured it back, but he still didn't have an ink pot. "Someone really needs to invent a self-inking quill," he mumbled. He started to leave the Owlery in search of an ink pot, when he ran into someone.
