Studying

[Kris Lupin]

Kris sighed as she walked into the library, she only really talked to Sirius anymore. She looked around and saw Lily Evans with some Slytherin. She slowly made her way to their table, she put on a forced smile as she reached the table. She wasn't one to talk first so she stood there waiting for one of them to notice her.

[Severus Snape]

Severus sensed that some one was near by and looked up to see Lupin's melodramatic sister. "And you would be needing what exactly?" he said snidely.

[Kris Lupin]

Kris jumped dropping one of her books, his tone is what made her jump. "N-nothing." She said a bit nervously. She lowered her eyes and looked at the floor. She only met one Slytherin that was nice, she wondered why she was in that house if she was nice.

[Severus Snape]

Severus rolled his eyes, this girl was the anti- griffyndor, she didn't seem brave and didn't seem to withstand even a remotely harsh tone. Severus opted to ignore her, she was no threat and there for not worth his trouble.

[Kris Lupin]

The attack had changed her a lot. She use to be able to stick up for herself, but anymore she seemed like a scared, lost puppy. She went to pick up her book she had dropped and ended up dropping the rest of her books. She kicked herself mentally for being such an idiot and a scared Gryffindor.

[Severus Snape]

Severus moved his books away from the girl and said "Are you sure you don't need something? because I believe you need some sort of medication." he said sneering at her. He was so disappointed. He was sitting next to a vision, in one of his favorite places to be and they had a pleasent chat and now this large eyed clumsy girl seemed to spread a sense of doom.

Kris bit her lower lip as she picked up her books, she was trying to ignore this Slytherin boy. She for some reason was a bit scared of him, but yet she sorta seemed drawn to him.

[Severus Snape]

Severus wilted when he saw the girl bite her lip and give him a quivering look. 'This is biazzar.' he thought as he sifted in his seat.

[Lily Evans]

Lily had been engrossed in her notes so she hadn't noticed Kris until now. "Hi, Kris. You can have my seat, I'm a bit tired." She smiled as she gathered up her books. After having her books put in her bag she smiled at Severus. "See you later."

[Severus Snape]

Severus wilted as he was left alone...then it occured to him that he was always surrounded by girls. His best friend was girl...his...friend was girl, if he could avoid all other males, he figured he only have to deal with that clumsy large eyed sister of Lupin!

[Kris Lupin]

Kris slowly sat down, she hadn't felt this nervous since her first date with Sirius. She knew that this was one crush she wasn't going to tell him about. She opened her potions book and started reading it, though she had read most of her text books at least twice she wanted to read them once more/

[Severus Snape]

Severus shifted again in his seat, it was so much harder to concentrate on herbs and roots with so much swirling in his mind.

[Kris Lupin]

Kris bit her lower lip and kept glancing at the boy, She acted like she was reading but she couldn't concentrate not with the butterflies in her stomach. She found herself wondering what his name was, and if he and Lily had a thing going on.

[Severus Snape]

Severus sat back in his chair and observed that he was being watched by that odd girl. She was trying to be sealthy and not be seen looking at him, but she didn't know that she was as plain as day. Severus turned a page of his book and then glanced at Lily, she was of course was the picture of serenity. He thought of his potion that was maturing in his room and decided to look up the ingredients he used to make it, just to see if there were any other notations he could make in his potions text, which was by now, almost re-written. Besides what was just basic knowledge, hardly a potion went un changed.

Kris wanted to say something but she didn't know what to say. She bit her lower lip and tried to keep her eyes on her potions book. She wished she had someone to talk to about being a werewolf but that was something she had to keep to herself.

[Lily Evans]

Lily stifled a yawn as she left the library. She would study more the next day, she glanced back at Kris. Kris was an odd girl but she was nice once she did talk.

[Severus Snape]

Severus looked up as Lily left. He felt like sighing but stopped himself, it wasn't like he was blessedly alone.

[Kris Lupin]

Kris hated silence but she, anymore, wasn't the one to start talking first. She tried not to glance at him, but she would glance at him less then she did before. There was just something about him that she liked, though she didn't know him.

[Severus Snape]

Severus couldn't stand her stole glances anymore he set his book down forcefully and said standing up and leaning toward her "What? why do you keep looking at me?" he just couldn't take it anymore.

[Kris Lupin]

Kris blushed and her heart skipped a beat. "I..err..n-no reason..." She stammered her voice trailing off. She wasn't about to tell him she had a crush on him. Not when he was a Slytherin and she was with Sirius.
