Talking to Skye

[Alastor Domino]

Alastor walked into the hospital wing with Zander behind him, hoping Albus, Wesley, and V were already there.

[Athena "V" Smith-Calloway]

V was already up there, as was Dumbledore. Wesley had chosen to stay in Dumbledore's office for the time being, in case Natalie or Sabrina happened to be walking around. He didn't want them to know he was alive just yet. V was sitting down near the injured girl's bed, talking to a scruffy werewolf named Karl when Alastor and Zander walked in. "Alastor, hi..." she said. As she saw Zander, she got up and ran to him. "Zander!"

[Alastor Domino]

Alastor knew she would want to be with Zander so he held back and watched them talk.

[Zander Smith]

Zander gasped at the siight of his sister running toward him. "Athena!" he said, hugging her tightly. "Where have you been? I hadn't heard from you in ages, I was afraid you were dead!"

[Alastor Domino]

*Athena?* Alastor thought. *Well, she did say she was a spy.*

He was quite surprised. It was a beautiful name though, and it fit her. He tried to hide his watching her but he was a little unsuccessful.

[Athena "V" Smith-Calloway]

"Not hardly, little brother," V said with a laugh. "I'm doing good. I've had to be in hiding for the last few months. I guess you met my friend, Alastor, right? Only... he knows me as V. That's my code name at the Ministry." She gave him another hug. "I've been so worried about you these past few months, ever since I heard what happened to you... I was afraid you were running through the woods or something. But you have your own pack now?"

[Zander Smith]

"Yeah, I do," Zander said. "And there's someone in particular I want you to meet," he added, glancing over at Pearl. "But we'll have time for this later... Alastor said something about life or death... so what's going on?"

[Alastor Domino]

"Athena, I think you should tell him." Alastor said with a little bit of anger. He was a little angry that she hadn't told him once they got to know each other better.

[David Harmon]

David decided to come see Skye today, because frankly, he missed her. Although, whenever he arrived, he saw Zander, Karl, Dumbledore, a woman, and other man there. "Hey Zander, Dumbledore, Karl, and the other two," he said nodding to them. "How's Skye?"

[Karl]

Karl watched the scene before him warily. Skye was still sleeping and he wasn't sure he liked all the activity around her. She was sensitive and woke easily. So when David walked in there, he smiled with relief. Skye seemed more comfortable when David was there. He motioned for David to come closer. "She's been better today, her shoulder doesn't bother her so much. The nurse lady said she could leave tomorrow. But she's sleeping now."

[David Harmon]

David moved closer and took a seat on the edge of Skye's bed. "I'm glad she's doing better," he said more quietly. "Oh, by the way, Chloe said that she's sorry that she couldn't make it today, because she's working, and she also said that if anyone wanted anything to eat, just swing by the Hot Panini, and she'd take care of it," said David. "I know Skye's going to be happy that she gets to leave tomorrow."

[Karl]

Karl flushed slightly as David mentioned Chloe's name. "OK," he said, suddenly feeling like his tongue was tied in knots. Why did Chloe always make him feel that way?

[David Harmon]

David smiled as he noticed Karl flush a bit. "Anyway, what excatly is going on? I mean, who are those two?"

[Karl]

Karl shrugged. "Dunno," he said. "The red haired girl is Zander's sister, but I don't know who the other guy is, or what they want."

[David Harmon]

David nodded. "I didn't know Zander had a sister. But then again I don't know to much do I," said David with a slight laugh. "I guess it's something important if Dumbledore's here."

[Karl]

Karl looked at the tall, imposing man with the long white beard. "He hasn't said anything yet. He just sits there, like he's listening to everything. He's very wise, isn't he?"

[David Harmon]

David nodded. "Yeah, he is. Dumbledore will help out, just about anyone," said David. "He does listen to everything, and then when he thinks it's the right time, he'll answer you."

[Karl]

Karl looked at the man called Dumbledore again. "I like him," he said. The others, however, he wasn't as sure about. He felt that they were both keeping secrets about things. He looked at David. "I think they want to talk to Skye... maybe we should wake her up?"

[David Harmon]

"Yeah, I think we should," said David. David leaned and shook Skye's shoulder lightly. "Hey Syke," he said quietly. "Time to wake up for a little bit."

[Skye]

Skye opened her eyes slowly, and looked up at David. "Oh... hi..." she breathed. "What's going on?"
