Albus entered the Great Hall and looked around. The Hall was, as always, gloriously decorated. Soon it would be filled with students, their happy chatter and laughter echoing throughout the room. He was glad for school to be starting again, but he was also worried. The last year had been a difficult one, with students dying and disappearing. He hoped this year would be better, but he feared the darkness was only going to spread.
Sighing, he walked over to the staff table and sat down to wait for the children to arrive.

Lucie walked into the room quietly, she straightened out her top and brushed her hair behind her ears. As she approched the teachers table, she smiled at Albus. ''Hello Albus, nice you see you again.'' She said.

Ashley wandered into the Great Hall, she stared around and couldn't believe how beautiful it was. She strode upto where Lucie was stood. ''Hey... I'm Ashley.'' She said, smiling.

Lucie looked beside her, she saw a girl with blonde hair and brown eyes staring back, she smiled. ''Hi, I'm Lucie... Charms Professor and Auror.'' She said.

Ashley grinned, ''I teach Muggle Studies.'' She said, ''My cousin is a muggle, so I know alot about them.'' She added.

Wesley walked into the Great Hall. It was like flashing back to when he was much younger... the room looked exactly as he remembered it. He felt just as nervous as he had when he first walked into that room as a shy First year waiting to be sorted. But he smiled and approached the table. He nodded at Dumbledore and a blonde girl he didn't recognize. Then he spotted Lucie. "Hello, Lucie, how are you doing?" he said. He tried to keep the sadness out of his voice, as he remembered how close she and Sabrina had been.

Lucie grinned, ''Hello Wesley!'' She said, ''It's so nice to see you, how've you been?'' She asked simpatheticly.

"I'm doing all right," he said. "I've just been spending a lot of time with Natalie. That's why I took the teaching job here, so I could be close to her."

''Thats a good idea...'' Lucie replied, ''I haven't spoke to her much after what happened, but I'll keep a eye on her, and keep you informed.'' She said smiling.

Wesley sat down on the other side of her and sighed. "She's doing a lot better than she was," he said. "But I appreciate you looking out for her. She's had a rough time."

"Yes, she does," Wesley replied. "And I think it helped her to have a lot of family around her. We stayed at Alastor's house with him and his fiancee, Athena, and her two children. It was a bit crazy... but I think it was good."

Lucie smiled, ''Well me, Elle and Carrie are always here for her.'' She said, ''Oh, Let me introduce you to somebody...'' She said and looked towards Ashley, ''This is Ashley, she's the new Muggle Studies Professor.''

Wesley laughed. "Yes, I suppose it would be, since we are so used to it. But if you weren't used to it, I guess it wouldn't seem so strange."
