"Hmm, maybe I'll tell you," Claudia replied, smiling mischievously. "In time. But only if there's something in it for me. After all, if I give up all of my secrets right away, then I won't have anything left, will I? Besides, I only just met you. How can I be sure I can trust you?"

Zane shrugged, "I guess you really can't just yet. You've just got to give me a little time and I'll give you a few reasons to trust me." He said, grinning. "But you're not the only one with some secrets. I've got a few of my own that I'm waiting for the right time to reveal. But if you do want a hand in executing my plans, I suggest you don't take too long with developing a little bit of trust in me. I'm not exactly going to be very lax about who I choose to help me out and split the glory with."

"Oooh..." Claudia said, raising her eyebrows at him. "Doesn't that all sound mysterious? I have to admit, you've piqued my interest. What do you say we get out of this craphole and go somewhere else to talk a little more freely?" She didn't want to admit it, but she was a little uneasy about the possibility of the Dark Lord overhearing their conversation.

"Sure. That's probably a good idea." Zane said, watching her carefully. She seemed to be at least a little genuinely interested in the whole thing. He just wanted to make sure he wasn't going to walk into some kind of trap. "Do you have any specific place in mind?" He asked, standing up and quickly scanning the room and it's surrounding area to make sure that no one had slipped in unnoticed.

"I keep a room at the Three Broomsticks," Claudia said. "It won't look too suspicious if I bring you there, and it's still fairly neutral ground, if that's what you're worried about. I don't think you want to go to my mansion in Scotland." She stood up and looked around as well, trying to make sure no one was sneaking around.
