She bit her lip again, "I will. I can do all the laundry if you'd like." she said determined to be 'reasonable'.
"Um... So...Derek. Were there any leads?"
Diana didn't have anything else to do but go over what she knew, most of it by memory. She was actively staying out of Christian's way after their last emotional scene, she'd rather avoid another one.

Christian nodded to her offer to do the laundry. He'd expand her barrier later so she could go into the laundry room.
"Nothing on his end. I'm not sure what use he was before, but he seems pointless now. We discussed the meeting I told you about but unless we get another bite before then, we're at an impasse for the moment."

Diana's lip twitched as Christian once again referred to Derek as pointless. He was the same man even without his memories, he just wasn't her man.
"So that location in High Gate...I know the schematics pretty intimately. It was one of the locations I had marked as a POI. Crawford Industries has a few scattered properties throughout the area, but this one's run through a shell company. In my bag, there's a compass inside. If you bring it to me I can show you." she offered.

Christian nodded and pushed past her on the stairs, shoving his half eaten sandwich in her hand. Christian kept Diana's go-bag in his closet and her barrier stopped just outside his bedroom door. She would have no access to her supplies, but Christian was more concerned about her access to the small armory she kept in the bag.
He pulled the bag out from the wardrobe and placed it on his bed, then rummaged around until he found the compass. He zipped the duffle and threw it back into the closet before coming back into the hallway to meet Diana.

Diana finished the sandwich. Like a dog with his master's scraps, but she held her tongue. The mission was more important than her pride.
She was standing just outside her room meeting him in the hallway, she turned around and opened the door gesturing for him to follow her.
In the corner she had set up a bit of a work station. She had pictures of the men they had taken down, a note card with a question mark signifying the final board member and strings that tied them all together, along with a display for the other information they had gathered.
In short she had kept herself busy to keep from going mad.
She sat down and looked over her notes before holding her hand out, "Compass." she requested.

Christian followed her to the spare room - it was not her room, she was just sleeping in it. His brow raised as he saw what she had been working on. No wonder she'd been less annoying the past two days, the woman was slowly going mad.
"This looks a little John Nash, to me. We might need to get you checked out," he commented, handing over the compass. "Where's my sandwich?" he asked, realizing she no longer had it.

"Wouldn't help." Diana said. She was certifiable. She had already been to a psychiatric ward, and they tried for years to fix her.
When he mentioned his sandwich Diana's eyes went wide.
"These are the schematics..." she said quickly opening the compass and pulling a piece of paper from it. The paper expanded several times over to produce a flat blank document, Diana uttered an incantation and the schematics in question appeared.
She laid it out on the table and let her eyes scan the familiar network of walls, windows, air ducts, etc.
"Here's your best point of entry." she said pointing at a place on the map. "But you get blocked off here, and that could be bad if you needed to get out quickly and they had a disapparation jinx on the building. Here's another entry point, it's not as clean as the first, but it's a quick get away if anything should happen."

His attention was easily diverted from his stolen sandwich by Diana's clear ability to assess and devise a plan. The beginnings of a plan, at least. He leaned over the table and studied the floorplans as she described their best entry and exit points.
"If they've evaded us this long there's bound to be much more than just anti-disapparation charms. What else would be considered standard at Crawford Industries?"

"My father was ridiculously paranoid at home, and on most any other place I've had to infiltrate so far, but a vial of my blood should get you through most of their defenses. Derek will likely give you that in addition to any necessary security clearances. Both muggle and wizard tech so be prepared for more than just hexes and curses if you're caught." she trailed her finger along the lines and made a pathway from the earlier discussed point of entry to another room.
"This is the most likely meeting place, and if you use the second entry here you can easily overhear whatever is going on. Burke's a genius at breaking charms, and he'll have the tech you need to listen in. The only thing I'm worried about is here..." she said tapping on the page, "Depending on how heavy the artillery is there then this is where things would get messy."

"I'm good with messy," Christian said flippantly. Any other time he might have sounded arrogant, a well deserved arrogant but arrogant nonetheless. However, he too impressed by Diana's tactical skills to toot his own horn. In fact, something about their discussion was rather arousing. Christian straightened as he thought over their plans, but his eyes kept shifting over to Diana's legs. Her panties were just visible as she leaned over the table studying the map. His eyes lingered.

She leaned forward further unconsciously to see if there were any other access points that would eliminate the danger, "We don't know what's waiting for you there, a couple of guards or a whole artillery. Careful planning, less mistakes."
Christian had taught her that.
"You know you could always-" she turned to look up at him but quickly caught the look in his eyes, it easily set off every trigger Diana had. Since she had reconnected with Christian they had never gone very long without having sex. For the longest time sex was their ultimate form of communication. He was the enemy now, supposedly. She was his prisoner.

He didn't let her finish. He'd stop listening half way through. There was plenty of time for planning, but something inside told Christian he had to have Diana right now.
He grabbed her and kissed her, pulling her body flush against his. His passion was primal. It wasn't the fiery passion between people madly in love with each other as it had been when he knew who she was. This was animalistic. Reflexive. Instinctual.

There were so many thoughts in her head about why this was wrong, why she shouldn't be with him, why she should push him away. He silenced them all with a kiss.
Her passion was raw, aggressive, she battled for dominance, but surrendered the fight. She had missed him. It seemed she always missed him.
It was the same body even if it wasn't the same man, Christian played as a substitute for himself, but he also demanded her full attention as well.

Christian swiped the papers and the compass off the table and lifted Diana onto it. He tore at his shirt that she wore, pulling the buttons off and not bothering to slow down long enough to notice that her stomach protruded outward. He pulled her hair and elongated her neck then tasted her skin hungrily before removing the rest of her clothes.
Just as it had been several times before, Diana knew exactly what to do to please Christian. But Diana was no longer some random stranger, he had recognized a few things over their previous trysts and used his new tricks to resounding applause.

Pregnancy was taking a toll on Diana's stamina, the sandwich had helped, but she had certainly burned off whatever meager calories his leftovers had given her. She was spent after the second round and fell into a deep sleep still intertwined with her husband.

It was the middle of the day and while the fun with Diana had certainly expended some energy, he wasn't tired. He laid in the bed, allowing Diana to curl around him in sleep, as his thoughts ran 100 miles per minute through his head.
There was a mystery man to take out. An assassin. A Life Bond to dissolve before he could get Diana out of his house. All of the signs were pointing to Christian actually being married to Diana. He was certain Diana's baby was Burke's, despite what the man claimed - only an idiot would admit to f*cking another man's girl. But Diana was pregnant nonetheless and it made her emotional and unstable. Or maybe that was just Diana in general, Christian couldn't know for sure.
He felt her stomach flutter as it was pressed against him. Thinking it was rumbling, he'd forgotten to give her access to the kitchen before he left, Christian pulled himself out of her unconscious grip and headed downstairs to fetch her something to eat.
