Diana Ward Christian walked alongside Diana as they made their way through Diagon Alley toward the towering white marble building at the far end. A portkey was locked away in one of the safety deposit boxes at Gringott's, ready to take them to Barbados where they would find Lester Hadelman. Lester was one of the six remaining board members from Diana's father's company. After this weekend there would only be five remaining.
As they walked up the white stairs, a goblin in a security uniform pulled the giant door open for them. Diana had the key to the safety deposit box, and as they entered the bank, Christian allowed her to take the lead and approach the goblin sitting at the counter.

Diana stepped in front of him, her heels clicking against the marble floor, as her hips swayed side to side. Her figure cut in a dark suit. She followed the goblin to the safety deposit box and put her key in after the goblin had placed his. The door swung open and Diana pulled a black velvet bag out of the box. She thanked the Goblin and brought the bag back toward Christian.
They couldn't use the portkey in the bank obviously. Diana liked to plan for a hasty escape if need be, and a place where medical supplies would be if need be.
She brought the bag up by the strings and smirked toward her lover.

Christian smirked in return, his hand resting at the small of her back as they made their way back out into the busy street. Diana looked sinful and dangerous in her skin tight dresses, but in her suit she looked powerful. Christian was eager to see her power in action when they arrived at the resort.
They headed back toward Diagon Alley to the Inn, but only after Christian ducked into a liquor shop and grabbed them a few extra bottles of firewhiskey. "In case we can't be bothered to leave the room," he said cheekily. They planned to use Hadelman's suite for the weekend, after Hadelman was taken care of, of course. He held the door for her and followed her up to her room, admiring her figure as she swayed in front of him. Diana's things had already been moved to his house, save for a travel bag for their trip.
"One last go, before we check out?" he smirked, raising his eyebrows at her. He knew they didn't have time, they were on a schedule. But he enjoyed taunting her.

Diana made a small noise that was somewhere between a moan and a grunt of disappointment. They were on a schedule and if there was one thing that could distract her from the task at hand it would be Christian and the sinful things he could do to her body. Then again if there was one thing that was more powerful than her lust for the man in front of her it would be her desire to be with her daughter again.
"We take care of Hadelman, and we can do anything you want anyway you want." she purred leaning into him, "I'll even..." she continued whispering something provocative in his ear. She trailed her lips down toward his neck and ghosted the words against his skin. She enjoyed taunting him as well.

Christian smothered a smile and shook his head in a mockingly disapproving manner. "You're a devil woman, Diana." His eyes bore into hers, thinking on exactly what prize he would be taking from her tonight.
"Let's get on with it then, shall we?" He looked to the velvet bag Diana held. He was curious to see what kind of thought, if any went into Derek's choosing of a portkey. It was evident from their meeting the other night that he harbored feelings for Diana. What was not as clear was whether Diana reciprocated.

"You love it." she winked confidently at him. With a sigh she untangled herself and emptied the velvet bag on the bed, a tulip made of silver landed on the duvet. Diana smiled.
Returning her eyes to Christian she offered him her hand.

As the delicate tulip rolled onto the bed Christian rolled his eyes. Yes, women liked to be wooed. But the sappy lengths some men would go to...
Christian picked up their bags and then took Diana's hand.

The tulip carried significance to Diana, but it was a sentiment she had yet to share with Christian, nor did she intend to. He wasn't one for sentiments, lust suited him quite well, but she was barking up the wrong tree for something romantic. She may have lusted after Christian, she may have even loved him still, but on some deeper level she was still waiting for it to end. Waiting for him to become bored with her like he had before.
Diana touched the tulip and held on as the world began to spin and they were transported halfway across the world.
When the spinning stopped Diana found herself floating downward toward the beach.

The sunny Barbados beach was much brighter than anywhere in London. Christian shielded his eyes as he fell into the warm sand. He stood, slightly queasy from the journey. While portkeys were useful, they were not the slightest bit comfortable. The point that the Ministry recommended pregnant witches and the elderly not use portkeys for fear of becoming sick was not lost on Christian, who's spinning stomach was slowly settling down.
He readjusted the bags in his hand and looked around. They were on the beach. He could see a resort in the distance, but they were currently isolated. No witnesses to their unexpected appearance.

Diana took a deep breath of beach air. It was truly a beautiful location. Their mission of death and mayhem didn't detract at all from the flawless beach which they currently were occupying by themselves.
In another time, and in a different world, Diana would have kissed him, letting herself indulge in fantasy as the island provided the perfect setting for such an illusion. They were in paradise.
But there was business to attend to. Diana used her wand to change clothing for their operation, and silently transformed into another person all together.

Christian watched Diana as she surveyed the area. She looked suited for the beautiful backdrop the island provided. But something in her eyes had shifted, and he could see that she was prepared for what was coming. She was accustomed to it. Christian smiled.
While she changed her clothes, he opened his bag and withdrew a few potions. He liked to be prepared for anything during these sorts of missions, so while he wasn't planning on needing them he wanted to make sure he had them available should the situation change. Pocketing the vials, he stood and magicked the bags away for safe keeping. Then he turned to Diana. He said nothing, but his eyes showed his confidence. This would be like taking sweets from a baby. They headed for the resort and for Hadelman's private suite.

Diana walked alongside Christian in silence. She was confident about what she needed to do, but she was worried about Christian. It was a lot to ask someone to kill for you, at least it should have been.
Getting into the suite was ridiculously easy, bypassing security as well turned out to be a breeze thanks to Derek's schematics. Really the man probably could have given them a portkey to the room itself, he already obtained Hadelman's routine and schedule so they were able to sneak inside and get the drop on their target.
Diana curbed the comment she wanted to make about Derek's usefulness as the door opened.

Diana needn't make any comments about Derek's information. It was quite clear to Christian as they practically swaggered into Hadelman's suite and awaited his return. Christian stood against the wall, wand pointed at the opening door. The man that walked unknowingly to his death was tall and portly, with very little hair on his head and far too much of it poking out from the top of his tropical print shirt. As soon as Hadelman had stepped far enough into the room, Christian uttered "colloportus" and the door snapped shut and sealed itself. Christian held his wand on the man who looked as though he was about to have a heart attack. If only he were so lucky.

"Foolish really, not letting your guards secure the room before you walked in." Diana shrugged coming into view, her wand also trained on the man.
Hadelman's eyes practically bulged from their sockets as he saw her, "D-Diana!" he gasped, his robe parting from his portly frame.
Diana sneered and knowing Christian was there took her eyes off of the disgusting sight, "Sit down and close your robe Hadelman. It's time for a little heart to heart."

Hadelman stood shocked for a moment, before shuffling nervously over to a chair further away from either Christian or Diana. Christian countered the man's steps to keep a clear shot. When the man sat, Christian bound him to the chair. He smiled slightly, wondering if Diana would be displeased that she hadn't been the one to use her favorite spell.
"P-p-please," the man whispered, his eyes darting between Diana and Christian in terror. "I don't know anything. I didn't have anything to do with it."
Christian sneered and bellowed "crucio." Hadelman screamed but Christian quickly released the curse. "That's not really the truth, is it Lester?"

Diana watched Christian carefully as he meted out punishment to the portly man. Christian was handsome in general, but the look of confidence and power he held while ordering Lester around was almost seductive. She had missed it obviously when he used the curse on her.
To her surprise she detected no hesitation, no fear, or reluctance. There was no joy either, just an ease which said that Christian was no stranger to the unforgivable curse.
"Tell me where the other board members are. You know I'll find them one way or another." she walked toward him slowly, "You also know that you're going to die...but how you die is up to you. I can make it quick Lester, and I can make it very slow."

Hadelman whimpered and stuttered over his words in fear. "I d-don't know. I s-swear. I left after they contracted the hit wizard. Please, I don't know."
"Wrong answer," Christian said calmly before using the Cruciatus Curse again. This time he held it longer as punishment for not giving up the information, but also to silence him from talking more about the contract Christian held on Diana's life.

Diana waited for Christian to finish then shrugged, "He doesn't like useless people. You're not useless are you Lester?" she asked almost sensuously. There was definitely a seductive tone to her voice.
"Tell me what you know about the Hit Wizard." she said then pulled a gun from seemingly no where, "And keep in mind...I have less patience than he does." she said referring to Christian.

Hadelman began to cry at the sight of the gun. "Copperb-bottom. He's the one who t-took care of it. I had n-nothing to do with it." His sniveling face was contorted in terror.
Christian could see from the man's pathetic reaction that he was telling the truth. Copperbottom hadn't given this pig any information about the contract or the hit wizard who held it. But he had also given Diana nothing that Derek Burke hadn't already told her. Diana needed Copperbottom out of the way, as she did the rest of the board members, to find their daughter. But Christian needed Copperbottom gone to keep Diana.
"We already know that, Lester," he said calmly. "We want new information. Where is Copperbottom hiding?"

"You truly are pathetic Hadelman. And unfortunately you're proving quite useless right now." Diana sighed. "I think you need a little motivation." She pressed the gun to Hadelman's kneecap and pulled the trigger.
As Hadelman screamed in agony, Diana moved to the other kneecap, "Tell me something Lester...Something to save the other leg..."
Hadelman was cursing and screaming his hands hovering over his knee, he was going to be sick. He didn't have the stomach for this kind of pain.
"I don't know where he is!" he screamed.
"Wrong answer." her finger squeezed slightly on the trigger.
"Wait! Wait no! Sanchez!"
Diana's finger eased, "What about him?"
"He's got a thing for escorts, uses the same company for all his girls. He can't go a few days without a new girl."
Diana moved the gun higher up his thigh, "And what is the name of this company?"
