I have a continuity issue for my favorite character!
So since I made Alayna ages ago, Pottermore has since released the canon name for Luna's mom: Pandora Lovegood. Personally, I like Alayna Måne better but ALL HAIL THE JK CANON MATERIAL.
Any ideas for plot twists on how I can make the name change make some sense? I have an idea:
Pandora is initially a nickname Xeno gives her because he 'never knows what to expect from her.' After some time working at the Ministry, she recognizes so much injustice toward magical creatures that she begins publishing articles in protest under the pen name Pandora, and those published articles eventually grow into the Quibbler with the help of Xeno and other friends. Once the Quibbler is officially published, Alayna reveals herself as the author. Then, when she marries Xeno, she officially changes her name to Pandora Lovegood.
Thoughts? Criticisms? Good jokes?
