Personality: Drew is an extremely likable guy, with easy manners and a quick wit. But it can be hard to get beneath the surface with him, as he can be a little bit shy about letting people (especially girls) get too close. His sense of humor can be somewhat self-deprecating at times, as he would never say a harsh word about anyone else.
He has a strong sense of honor, and could be described as a true gentleman. He can never resist a person in need and would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it. Because of this, people do tend to take advantage of him. He knows it, too, but he allows it to happen because he doesn't know how to say no.
He has a bit of a fear of relationships, because he's been badly hurt in the past. But deep down, he believes in love and romance and is just looking for a relationship like the one his parents once had, even though he never actually got a chance to witness it.

History:Drew was born in Birmingham to two muggleborn wizards. Sadie Hamilton was working at St. Mungo's in London when she met Michael Hamilton, an auror more than 10 years her senior. He had been badly injured in a battle with a dark wizard, and she was his healer. She saved his life, and fell in love with him along the way. He was alone in the world, his parents having died in a muggle car accident when he was very young, so he had no one to visit him while he was in the hospital. So Sadie, who was also alone, took care of him, even sitting with him during her time off. When he was well, they continued to see each other, and eventually got married. But only two years after little Drew was born, Michael Hamilton was killed in another battle with a dark wizard. Sadie was devastated, but she carried on alone, raising her son to the best of her ability.
Other than the death of his father, Drew had a relatively normal childhood. He went to muggle school until he received his Hogwarts letter, and always had many friends. Girls, in particular, were drawn to him.
At Hogwarts, he was sorted into Hufflepuff, where he was again very popular. He played for the house quidditch team and got very good grades. In his seventh year, he fell madly in love with a Slytherin girl, and after pursuing her for half a year, she finally agreed to go out with him. They dated for two years, even after graduation, and Drew was prepared to ask her to marry him. But she abruptly dumped him and married a wealthy pureblood instead, leaving Drew brokenhearted. He has not dated anyone seriously since then and is still slightly afraid of relationships.
