Personality: (at least 4 sentences)
Harper always dreamed of becoming a dancer and teaching dance to others. She’s talented in a wide varitey of dances and she’s never able to keep still. Even standing in a group of friends she is at least swaying.
When she’s among friends, she is the life of the party. She is kind and cheerful to everyone, it’s hard not to like her once you get to know her. She’s a loyal friend (to those few she actually becomes friends with) and will be there for them in an instant and won’t leave until she’s positive they’re okay.
When she’s not with friends, or when she’s alone, Harper is usually only focused on one thing, her dance studio. She works as often as she can(she’s pretty, and pretty models who are used often get paid a lot) and she has been known to do a lot of things if it meant more money toward her dream. She’s not too keen on people coming up to talk to her, they make her anxious and nervous, so she will usually blow them off and act rude hoping they’ll leave her alone.

History:
Harper and her brother grew up in a very happy, well to-do family that much of society respected. Her mother was a healer specializing with children, and her father had business selling wand cores to wandmakers all over the world. What society (and their children) didn’t know is that both mister and misses Lahey were deep into the dark arts as well.
Harper was 10 when two men she had come to trust and expect around the house often came into her home one winter evening and killed her mother and father during dinner, leaving her and her brother there unharmed. Colton went back to school, and Harper spent 6 months living with a foster parent until she was old enough to join her brother at school. The summers after the incident however, she and her brother lived on the streets of muggle London. Often, they lived in an alley behind a dance studio, and Harper would watch from the back window during the ballet and tap lessons, teaching herself as he teachers taught their paying students.
She and her brother were both sorted into Gryffindor, but she never felt very brave. As she grew older, she made a small handful of close friends who helped her open up again, living her up some, but she still was very careful about who she trusted, and she was terrified about who could betray her.
Now out of school for a while, Harper was approached by a muggle modeling agency one day after she had been dancing/performing on the street for pocket change. She now models for both muggle and wizard adverts and is saving every penny she has to open her own dance studio one day.
Anything else? I’ve had her in my head for a long while actually, but when you mentioned Troy needed a friend, I felt that she would be a good fit because she would be understanding if he had a manic episode, but she wouldn’t take any of his s**t either.
