ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER
Character Name: Amira Belle Matthews
Year: 5th
Appearance:
- Brief Description: Amira is a beautiful brunette with tanned skin. She has her mother’s chocolate brown eyes and a gorgeous, shy smile. Her hair is long and flows in waves and she never wears it up. She is rather active in swimming and quidditch and has kept her body fit because of it.
- Eye Color: Chocolate brown
- Hair (color, length, style): Amira has dark brown hair that matches her eyes. It grows passed her shoulders and hangs in natural waves. Some days she spells it straight but she can’t seem to get all the kinks out.
- Skin Tone: She has tan skin from all her outdoor exposure.
- Height: She’s shorter than most girls, standing at a simple 5’3.
- Body Type: She has almost an athletic build because she grew up playing Quidditch and spent most of her summers in the lake by her house. She only sits still when she gets a good book in her hand.

Classes
- Best/Favorite Classes: Potions, Herbology, Care of Magical Creatures
- Worst/Most Hated Classes: Transfiguration, Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts (pretty much anything with a wand, she’s no good at)
Strengths:
Manual Work, she’s great with her hands.
Quidditch, she grew up playing the game.
Potions, she studies and practices the subject religiously.
Loyal, she could be your best friend if you let her.
Outgoing, she doesn’t hold back.
Cheerful, it doesn’t take much to put a smile on her face.
Weaknesses:
Boys, she is a teenage girl after all.
Memories of her mother, she lost her at a young age.
Her family, she loves them dearly and would do anything to protect them.
Wand magic, she can’t figure out what it is but she is no good with any sort of charms.
Books, she is an avid reader. She blames her mother.
Getting into trouble, she absolutely hates being yelled at. More than anything she would die if she disappointed her father.
Personality:
Amira is an interesting teenager. She loves her school work and will study potions until her eyes bleed, but if you have a problem she’ll drop everything and listen. She doesn’t like to see people upset, especially her friends and she’ll do anything she can to fix it. She adores her family and would take a killing curse for any one of them in a heartbeat.
Potions is her number one weakness. If you don’t like the subject, you better not mention it around her because getting her to stop talking about it is next to impossible. She’s also very good with her hands which is why she does so well with herbology and she loves animals of all kinds. She’s not, however, very good with wand magic. There’s something about spell work that she just doesn’t grasp. She does well enough to pass her classes but she definitely has no chance of being an auror when she graduates.
Amira is also very into reading, swimming, and playing quidditch. If she could spend her life doing only those three activities, she would be a very happy lady. She grew up with brothers who all play quidditch so she kind of didn’t have a chance not to like the sport.
Family

- Father: Robert Matthews, Quidditch Trainer
- Siblings (if any, list names and ages): Robert “Robbie” Jr. 20, Mikey and Marko 16(twins), and Sam 13.

History:
Amira grew up in a half-blooded family and so her thoughts on muggles are the same as her thoughts on wizards: everything’s normal to her. Her father, Robert, was a pure blooded wizard who fell in love with her mother, Amanda, while out celebrating a win from his favorite Quidditch team. All the usual wizard bars were packed from all the others celebrating the world cup so he and his friends went to a muggle one in London. They figured either way they were getting drunk passed recognition so it didn’t matter if they were surrounded by muggles who didn’t understand their celebrating. When he saw Amanda there, soothing a friend over a recent break up, it was love at first sight. They were inseparable after that, despite his family’s bitterness about her muggle status.
Amira was the fourth child of five and the only girl. She never minded because she loved to be one of the guys. Her mother wished she would be a little more girly but after she cried in the princess dress she got her for Halloween, she gave up. She passed away when Amira was eight and she was devastated. She hasn’t quite gotten over it yet.
Her father taught quidditch to young wizards who aspired to be professionals when they were older. He taught his own children and they play the sport almost all summer. It’s almost all the boys ever talk about. She loves it just as much as they do and never minded.
In school, Amira made friends easily, having an outgoing and caring nature that her father always said reminded him of her mum. She was also a bit of a nerd and she was able to make all kinds of different friends. She didn’t care about house differences and even had some Slytherin buddies, those who could overlook her half-blooded self that is. She loved her time at school and looks forward to going back every summer.
Anything else? That might have been kinda long..
