((I'll move this when we get an apartment, ha ha))
Sedona stood in the middle of an empty living room, wooden floors beneath her her high heeled shoes. Her hands were on her hips, and she was just assessing it. There wasn't much to it, but then again, Gabriella had just barely moved in, and Sedona still wasn't out of the family home, either. She could just imagine what Mateo would do when he found out who she was moving in with. It hadn't been a topic she wanted to breech yet.
There was a big window that covered almost the entire far wall, and she thought it might have looked rather beautiful... were the sun shining. Right then, all she could see was the gray of the clouds over the city. So dreary...
"This is it, yes?" She asked, head turning, and her body following as she pulled herself in the direction of the bedroom that Gabriella already claimed. "We're going to have to decorate with a lot of bright colors. I never have liked the London clouds."

Ever since Gabriella broke the news to her parents finally, she had moved into the apartment. A lot of things hadn't been even placed in the apartment. Items such as couches, chairs other than the chairs at the dining room table, counter, and the one big comfortable chair in the living room, were still needed.
"Yes, this is it," Gabriella said coming out of her bedroom from trying to arrange it around to her liking. She had taken off her shoes, so her barefeet met with the hardwood floor. "There's still quite a few things that need to be added other than paint. The paint we can get soon. I have a rug, couch, an end table, and a coffee table that still need to come in. I was hoping we could paint before that stuff was moved in."
She looked to Sedona with a smile. Opening her arms, Gabriella hugged her in greeting. "How are you?"

Sedona had her hands on her hips, looking around as though assessing the place. In reality, she kind of adored it. It was small, and not all that lavish, but it was theirs, and that meant a lot. And soon, they would have Sadriella off the ground. This was the beginning of something good.
She hugged Gabriella back, a smile meeting her lips, finally. "I am well. I will be excited to paint. How did your parents handle the news?" It was a rush of information and words, but Sedona had a lot she wanted to say.

At Sedona's question, Gabriella's smile faded. "N-not too well. I didn't really get to see my mum's face, just my padre's. I didn't stay for any longer at the table. I remember running up to my room, grabbing the rest of my things and leaving. I knew that he was furious." There was no reason to lie about this situation. Anyone could tell that the news of a Santino and a Rossi being together, even as friends was going to make the father's get angry. Gabriella didn't understand it.
"It was a bad time to tell them I think, seeing as Dante has returned for awhile. I didn't know he was going to be there when I planned to tell them..."

Sedona's own smile faded, and she nodded. "Wonderful. That means my family won't take it any better. I wonder if I can just tell them I'm moving and have them not ask questions."
It was never happen. They kept a close eye on her, and most of the time, she actually liked it. She was the baby in the family, the only girl, the one they almost lost. And since she was rescued by Mateo, she had such a close relationship with him. She didn't tell him everything, or anything close to everything.... but she still loved him and knew that he would always be there for her, no matter what.
Until he found out that her best friend was a Santino. She sighed.
"Dante's back, though? That's... surprising. When did he come back?"

"Good luck with that one," Gabriella said with a solemn tone. There was no way that she could have left details out with that one. If she had, she knew that her father would probably send someone to watch her and she couldn't have her father find out that way because things would end up ten times worse.
"Dante has been back," she paused for a moment, "for awhile. I ran into him one day awhile back and he didn't want me to tell our parents that he was back. He wanted to come back on his own time and well, padre brought him home for dinner as a surprise." Gabriella pushed her hair behind her shoulders. "I think he's going to stay around there for a while though."

Sedona was more than a little worried about telling her family. But maybe it wouldn't be as bad as she was making it out to be. Maybe they would go easy on her... afterall, everyone knew that the girls in these families rarely had anything to do with the business. It wasn't like she was sleeping with their right hand man or anything. At least... not that she knew, yet.
"I wonder why he didn't want to tell you. Things must still be weird with your father, no?" Still, if Teo or Gio ran away from home, she knew they would tell her. She was Little Dona. Nothing would change that, right?
"Anyway, I guess I will start to move things in here once I tell them."

Gabriella shrugged. "Dante never went into much detail about anything. I think there's something else there, but I'm not going to push anything." She frowned at the mention of her father. "He was all smiles when he brought Dante home. I think he was actually happy that we were all together again as a family, but then I think I ended up ruining that." Her voice trailed off quietly as she looked toward the window.
"Yeah," she said making her voice a little louder and clearer. "I'll help you move everything in whenever you're ready. I've actually already started on the shop too. I cleaned up the place a lot yesterday. Now all that will be needed to be done will be the painting, the racks and things like that."
