Camp was alright. Dierks was constantly busy doing activities. He joined as many activities as he could. He wanted to gain Callie's attention during camp, but it seemed like she was preoccupied. He wasn't exactly sure what was going on with her. Naturally he hoped he hadn't done something that would have chased her off.
Classes started back and he was a year closer to graduation. He still wasn't exactly sure what he wanted to do with his life, but he'd figure it all out eventually. He hoped to figure out what was going on with Callie eventually as well. Hogwarts had started a week ago and still no conversation with her, but then again he had not really run into her.
As of right now, classes were over and Dierks left his top robe in his dorm room. He loosened his tie as he walked toward the lake. Time seemed to slowly tick by, but finally he had time to himself. Walking out and rolling up his sleeves, he moved to sit against a tree near the lake.

Seventh year was probably going to be the longest year Linette will ever have at Hogwarts. She ALREADY had assignments, she was taking too many classes, and her sisters were still strained with each other, though she and Callie had grown closer, there was still that tension that they were missing a puzzle piece.
She noticed him as she walked alone around the lake, she honestly hadn't been seeking Dierks out. But here he was and Callie had said she liked him, yet she hadn't talked to him at all...No. Linette wasn't going to meddle in her sister's love life, look where that got her with Bobby and Rabastan!.......
Okay she was just going to meddle a little, just be harmless about saying hi and nudging the two of them together. "Dierks?" she walked up to him, smiling as she approached the tree. "I don't think we've formally met, I'm Linette, Callie's sister..."

It wasn't too long before he sat down at the tree that he heard someone say his name. He glanced up to see one of the triplets coming his way. There was something different about all three of them. They each carried themselves a certain way. He could tell that this one was Linette, the only one he had yet to really meet.
Dierks stood up and brushed his pants off as she introduced herself. "Hey Linette," he replied with a smile. "Nice ter finally meet you." He wasn't exactly sure why she would come over and introduced herself. "I've heard things 'bout you, good things of course."

"If you've heard from Callie about me, that can't be completely true, but thanks anyway," Linette said with a soft smile. She knew she got under Callie's skin once and a while. "It's nice to meet you too. I can't believe I've made it to my seventh year and I still haven't met everyone in my whole year," she shook her head.
"Do you mind if I sit with you?" She asked, gesturing to the tree. She was trying to figure out how best to bring up Callie.

Dierks smiled when Linette said things he heard couldn't be completely true. "There's a lotta people here, a lot more than we think."
He motioned toward the tree. "Sure, you can join. I ain't really doin' anything." He leaned up against the tree. "You know, she has told me good things about you. She ain't said anything horrible 'bout you." Dierks had seen it before. He knew that the sisters were extremely close. Plus, it also happened with other siblings. Each one would think the other didn't think very highly of them when it was in fact the opposite.

Linette smiled at his politeness and then sat next to him underneath the shade of the tree. "I'm glad to hear that," Linette said as she placed her book bag next to her. "Have you talked to Callie since school got back? I feel like I haven't seen her in days and she's my own sister, you know? Probably the different timetables and such," which was mostly true, since Linette wasn't taking as many NEWT classes as her sisters.

At the mention of talking to Callie, Dierks scratched the back of his neck. "I've seen her here and there, but I ain't really talked to her. She always seems like she's in a hurry or somethin'." In fact, it almost seemed like Callie was avoiding him, but why on earth would she do that. "I see her in some classes, but she doesn't sit near me, and it ain't like I can just talk to her from 'cross the room. I've tried to catch up with her a few times after class, but she's always gone so fast."
He paused for a moment. Things had been going just fine between them, but then one day she just seemed to stop talking to him or act a little awkward. Dierks didn't understand it. "How is she since the last time you spoke to her?"
