Samantha was a little displeased when she learned who she would be sharing a cabin with. She would rather stay with her sister than this bunch and that was saying something. She got lumped together with two of the infamous triplets, a Gryffie for a counselor, but at least there was a Slytherin as well. Too bad she didn't know the younger girl.
As she walked into her cabin, finding it empty, she took solace in one thing: Leyla Collins had decided to go to camp this year. Which meant Toby Collins was going to camp as well. This meant she had more time to get to know him. She felt oddly giddy about that.
She placed her bags on a bed in the back and began unpacking her things into the small dresser she was given to use. "Ugh. Why do I have to be a 'Raven'? Reminds me too much of Ravenclaws." She huffed to herself as she folded her clothes neatly into the drawers.

An owl hooted as it landed on an open window sill. A second later, a girl stepped through the door into the cabin. She was the other Slytherin in the Ravens. She glanced up at the girl who was already in here. Arie recognized her as Samantha of the Lippre family.
She had seen her around the school and in the common room several times, but, as was usual with Ariesa, had never really said anything to her. This continued right now as she walked in and took a bed in a corner.
Arie didn't even bother with hand unpacking her things. She simply pulled out her wand and waved it through the air, muttering a spell. All of her things flew, rather nicely, out of her case and into the drawers that the camp had so nicely provided.
Ariesa was not thrilled to be here. She had been looking forward to not being around people during the summer. But her Mother had decided she needed to try to be more social and signed her up for camp. So, for now, she had to deal with it.

Callie arrived ahead of her sister. Linette was notorious for her tendency to be late for just about any occasion, because she was always double- and triple-checking her appearance. On the other hand, Callie generally didn't care how she looked. She tugged her hair back into a sloppy ponytail, put on just a little mascara and a lip gloss, and she was good to go. And of course, she just happened to be lucky enough to look amazing with just the smallest beauty routine. Even if she wasn't one of the Sanders triplets, other girls would probably hate her for that.
She'd packed a small suitcase, with a charm added to make it smaller than it actually was. Now she made her way through the camp, keeping her head down. She'd heard Rabastan had signed up for camp, although she had no idea if this rumor was true. She hoped not, but she was keen to avoid him.
After checking her cabin assignment, Callie found her way to the cabin and stepped inside. She frowned slightly. She tried not to discriminate, but two Slytherin girls were enough to make even the toughest Gryffindor just a little uneasy. Thank Merlin Linny would be in the same cabin with her.
"Hi," she said quickly, barely looking at them as she chose a bed in the corner.

Rose was running a little behind that morning, a highly unusual occurance, but nothing to be overly concerned about. She had hoped she would have had time to get there before any of the girls to set up, these were her last moments at the school and she wanted to make them count.
Rose remembered her first time at Camp and her counselor, it was then that she decided she would want to fulfill the same role when she was of age to do so and she wanted to make it just as memorable.
Entering the cabin she took a mental note of the girls already there, she was missing a twin but everyone else seemed to be there. "Hi girls." she smiled warmly.

Samantha looked up each time someone entered the room. She watched as the other Slytherin girl used her wand to unpack her things. She would have done the same but that was too quick and she wanted to kill some time. She wondered how soon she could sneak off and go find Toby or one of her friends. She didn't want to be stuck in the cabin for very long.
As one of the triples, she couldn't tell which, said hi Samantha greeted her with a simple "hey". They were the same age but they never really talked much. She figured they could be friendly as long as she wasn't obnoxious or a muggle born. At least then she would have someone to talk to.
She greeted the counselor who of course she knew was Rose Holt. Everyone knew her. She was the head girl after all. She also gave the other Slytherin a small smile. She didn't look like she was too interested in being there either.

Linnette felt like an idiot, sitting out in front of the camp with a trunk that was doing cartwheels on the grass. Her charms were never her best subject, and when she tried to levitate her trunk up to her cabin, it decided to dance and twirl instead.
Eventually, a cute looking boy from camp offered to help her after she batted her eyelashes a bit, and he followed her up to the cabin. "Can you put it over there next to my sister?" she asked sweetly. The boy did so and Linny kissed his cheek before he ran out blushing. "Hey there," she waved to everyone, smiling as she sat on her bed and straightened out the sheets, pulling a compact out of her pocket to make sure her lipstick didn't smudge.

Callie rolled her eyes as Linny walked in with a boy in tow. How did she do it? It never failed to amaze Callie the way her sister wielded such power over boys, so that they were practically tripping over themselves to do whatever she wanted. Callie did not have anywhere near that kind of power, and for the first time in her life, she found herself wishing she could be a little more like Linny and less like Bobby. And less like herself.
Since the incident with Rabastan, Callie had become sort of clingy to her "older" sister. She was avoiding Dierks, and, instead of spending that time alone, as she would have ordinarily, she was spending more time around Linny. The trouble was, Linny almost always had a boy around. It made the fact that Callie didn't have a boy around seem even more obvious.
"How do you do that?" she asked, shaking her head as the boy left. "I bet you don't even know his name."

Arie had noticed the other Slytherin's smile and she gave a short nod. She glanced around at the other girls there, seeing two girls that looked alike, one had brought a boy in to carry her things. She scowled at this.
Two Slytherins and three Gryffindors. What an interesting cabin mixture. She thought through the planning that would have had to gone into this combination. Were the advisers asking for a blood bath in the Raven cabin?
Why had her mother decided to send her to camp? She would have been much better off just staying home and working on things there. For now, she just resorted to sitting on her bed and looking at her owl on a branch outsider her window.
