Gwen had a blanket spread over her bed already, though she made sure to grab one along the wall, but in a place where she could see everyone. She didn't know too many of the girls on her roster, but she didn't see why they wouldn't get along. She only had one Slytherin, and it was one of teh Champions, so she figured Sam was nice and well behaved. And Gryffindors and Ravenclaws were notorious for getting along. What could go wrong?
She had a little welcoming kit for each girl, one placed on each bed that consisted of the necessities, in case anyone forgot theirs (toothpaste, shampoo) as well as some chocolate frogs and other random, fun things. She was determined to be a good counselor.
She turned as the door opened and took a breath. Welcome to camp, she thought to herself.

Savannah was more of an "indoor" girl. But given the choice between a whole summer taking care of her uncle and cousin and staying at summer camp, the choice was pretty obvious for her. Besides, she needed to try new things, to expand her horizons and figure out who she was. The fact that Cameron was also going, she assured herself, was not a factor.
She'd even managed to get Ryder to give her some money so that she could shop for some more "camp-appropriate" clothes. She bought sweaters, t-shirts, blue jeans, shorts, and trainers. She only brought a few skirts, one dress, and one pair of Mary Janes, but in case she needed to dress up for some reason.
She was still barely speaking to Elliot, and she made her way to her cabin on her own, carrying her suitcase with a featherlight spell on it to make it easy to carry.
When she got to her cabin, only one person was there. She smiled shyly at the older girl as she made her way over to one of the beds. "Hi," she said uncertainly. "I'm Savannah."

Samantha normally would have spent the summer at home, well she wouldn't have had a choice, her mother often forced her to every charity event and publication there was and there was no time for Camp. This time it was reverse, her father was the one pushing for camp.
It wasn't that he didn't want to spend time with his daughter, but rather that he firmly felt she needed to at least experience camp once. He'd much rather have her home, but beyond that he wanted her to fully experience life.
Gliding once more as was her usual gait she entered the cabin with no bags to speak of. She glanced both ways toward both girls and nodded pleasently before moving to one of the bunks. There she took off her necklace and uncharmed the small bag on it to expand to it's actual size before using a spell to help her unpack.
She saw the small packet provided for all the girls and nodded toward Gwen, "How kind, thank you."

Gwen nodded at Savannah and smiled. Well, here we go, she thought. Time to make this camp experience the best these girls would have.... or something like that. "Nice to meet you, Savannah. I'm Gwen."
Before she could say more, another girl walked in, a little younger than herself, and she couldn't place her name. She was quiet, and Gwen hoped this didn't mean she was one of the harder to handle girls... she supposed time would tell. "Of course... hopefully it's useful. I'm Gwen...." she repeated to the newcomer, fishing for her name.
And then it clicked. She was one of the champions. "Oh. Samantha. You're Samantha Montgomery, right?"

She nodded, "And you're Guinevere Scotts, my mother was publishing your upcoming nuptials." Sam added. Truthfully they all knew each other from somewhere some party or social event if not school, and the Scotts were an illustrious family that of course everyone knew of.
Personally Sam didn't understand how anyone could contemplate marrying a toad like Adrien Wolff, but then perhaps like most upperclass families Gwen didn't have a choice. Sam offered a tentative smile, "She passed before she could finish the article"
