Bek happily carried her bag into the cabin and dropped it on one of the beds, unpacking her clothes and books. She organized her things and then, when happy with everything in place, she turned to the rest of the cabin.
The girls in her cabin were younger, which Bek liked. All girls had drama, but older girls had the worst and Bek was not interested in dealing with that. She magicked the windows, opening them and letting in the natural light and then opened the door, making it as welcoming as possible for the other four.

Robin lugged her heavy suitcase behind her as she made her way to her cabin. She would have been content to pack light, but her mother, ever practical, had made her pack just about everything she owned, just in case she might need it. Even though Robin had sworn that there was absolutely no chance she was going to need her snow boots and winter cloak, her mother had packed them anyway, along with such a large array of medications that Robin wondered if her mother thought she was planning to open her own pharmacy. But if she happened to catch malaria or be bitten by a scorpion, Robin was prepared.
By the time she found her cabin, Robin was walking backwards, dragging the heavy wheeled suitcase by both hands. It would be so much easier if she could learn the spell to make things lighter. She'd already tried levitating the thing, but it kept crashing into things, because she didn't know how to control it.
Stopping before the door, Robin turned around and opened it, then held it open with her foot as she began to drag her suitcase the rest of the way.

"Here," Bek said when she saw the girl dragging the bag in. "Let me help?" She hoped around to the back of the bag and together, they heaved it up and carried it to the closest bed, dropping it with a thud on the mattress.
"What have you got in there, a body?" Bek asked with a breathless laugh. She offered her hand to the younger girl. "I'm Bek," she smiled.

Emmeline, her two bags levitating behind her and her carry-on slung over her shoulder, walked shyly up the steps to her new home. The only comforting thought right now was that she knew Rori would also be in this cabin and she was desperately missing her best friend.
Emme pushed the door open slightly to see two girls already standing around a bed introducing themselves. She recognized the red-headed one, but she couldn't remember from where. She cleared her throat and tried to make herself look as calm as possible. She smiled shyly and waved her hand.
"Hi. I'm Emmeline." She paused, looking around. What if she was in the wrong place? "I think this is the right cabin..."

"Thanks," Robin breathed, then laughed lightly. "My mother is a bit... over-protective. She made me bring practically everything I owned in case I'd need it. It was even worse than packing for school, I swear!"
She sat down on her bed and shook the older girl's hand. "Nice to meet you, Bek. I'm Robin."
Just then another girl burst in, and Robin recognized her as one of Sirius Black's girls. Not that she was actually dating Sirius or even wanted to, but Sirius tended to have a sort of following among certain girls, and he did nothing to discourage this.
"Hi, Emmeline!" she greeted the girl brightly.

After Bek shook the red-head's hand, she turned to the next girl with a bright smile. The blonde looked so nervous, Bek just wanted to reach out and hug her and tell her everything will be alright. She tilted her head a little and recognized her as one of Gage's housemates.
"Emme right?" she asked and smiled when Emme introduced herself. "My friend Gage is in your year and house, nice too meet you, you're in the right place." she said. "Want some help with the bags?"

Sheena had two bags. One was her clothes, neatly pressed and folded thanks to help from her mother. And the other, slightly larger and much heavier bag, was books. She wasn't sure how much "free time" she'd have at camp, her brothers and cousins hadn't ever gone, but she planned to have all of her books read by the end of summer so that she could buy new ones to bring to school next term.
She scooted around Emme, a girl a year younger than herself, and headed to the next available bed. "Hi everyone," she smiled. "Sheena Ferrera," she introduced herself before unpacking quickly, messing up the neatness of her clothes as the went into drawers, and stacking her books on her dresser in 4 piles.

Robin looked down at her ridiculously over-stuffed suitcase, contemplating how long it would take to unpack it all and whether the small chest of drawers next to her bed would hold it all. The prospect didn't look promising.
On the other hand, her roommates definitely did. She already liked Bek, and she knew Emme a little bit from classes and because she was always hanging around Sirius while Robin was with James. She didn't know Sheena, but she seemed to be very nice. All in all, it was looking like it would be a fun summer.
"It's nice to meet you, Sheena," she greeted the girl who had just entered. Then she smiled around the room at everyone. "I'm Robin, by the way. And if anyone needs any snacks or anything, I probably have it in here. My mum's crazy and made me pack so many things, I don't even know what's in here."
