With a snap, two figures appeared just outside the gated boundaries of the Knight residence. Cassius let her go once he was sure she was stable enough on her own two feet. He turned towards the mansion a moment, considering everything before turning back to her.
"Alright, so some answers first... Who are you really, how do you know of my Dead," he emphasized that word, "brother, and, finally, why were those people after you?"
He looked her up and down, in the hotel bathrobe, realizing that she was probably really cold right now. He shook his head and pulled off his jacket, wrapping it around her shoulders and started leading her towards the mansion.

He asked a lot of questions and she was prepared to answer them. She grasped the situation fairly quickly even though she flinched when Cassius said "dead" brother. When he was finished she opened her mouth to answer his questions but before she could say anything he had placed his jacket around her shoulders and led her inside. She was at first quite stunned by the gesture, then inwardly mocked him for his trusting her, after all she could have been anyone trying to hurt him or otherwise, but finally her feelings settled on a small sense of satisfaction.
"I'm hungry..." she added belatedly.

He sighed at this. Great, so now he wasn't going to get any answers until she was fed. He was really hoping to get some sort of answer before he walked her into the house. He stopped and moment, grabbing her elbow and turning her to face him.
"Look, here is the situation. This is my home, my father's home. You are not to wander around, investigate, hell, even leave my sight. Alright? I don't know what I was even thinking bringing you here. But those are the rules. And, I want you to hand over your wand because I really don't want any funny business."
He held out his hand, expectantly.

She raised an eyebrow at his tone and sudden change of demeanor and almost let out an unladylike snort, but when he asked for her wand she couldn't help herself "Not on your life." she said gripping her wand tighter.
"Now you look, here is the situation. I don't need your home, or your father's home. I don't need to wander around or investigate because I have much better things to do. I do not need nor want you to keep me in your sights. I never asked you to bring me here, and as for your rules you can shove them where the sun don't shine got it buddy?" She said meeting him head on toe for toe, she was not about to be pushed around.

"Well then maybe I should just apparate you right back to those goons that were after you. I'm sure they would be appreciative to get you back and oh so helpful in what ever you need. No wait... they were trying to kill you. I guess that wouldn't be too helpful, would it. I want you to consider your options very, very carefully right now. Back there with the bad guys, or here where we might be able to keep you safe and figure out what is going on."
He towered over her and was a bit intimidating. He was smart and knew that this girl didn't have many options.

She didn't back down one inch, in fact she was so caught up in the moment she didn't realize she was standing on her toes pressing her chest against his trying to stand up to his macho domineering way and giving her own. Had it been Valerius she would have backed down already, but even though he looked like Valerius he wasn't, and that meant he couldn't boss her around.
"Do it!" she said recklessly, "I dare you." her eyes narrowed. "Send me back there with those barbarians and live with that on your concscience." He had misjudged her in thinking he could intimidate her and make her listen to him, that only made her want to fight him more, but she was hoping that she had judged him correctly and that he wouldn't be able to send her away.
"But before you do know that it is you who are being unreasonable and uncaring in this situation you brute. I was just attacked and now another stranger is asking me into his home, his ground so to speak and wants me completely defenseless? Surely you do not mistake me for a such a simpleton as that do you?" she stared in his eyes her own reaching for some kind of soft part inside of him.

Cassius was a gambling man. So he decided to call her bluff. He took his jacket off of her and pulled it back on, grabbed his wand and her elbow again.
"Very well. If you want to go back, I will be much obliged to take you back."
He sat back and prepared to apparate the two of them back to the hotel room.

She was disappointed and she didn't know why. Perhaps she thought that he might cave under her irresistible allure, but even then she had to laugh at herself. It was no matter, she wasn't going back, "I'm sorry...but I can't let you do that." she twisted out of his grasp and moved to strike him, she was fast and quick on her feet dodging out of his reach but getting in a good hit here or there.

Cassius was a pretty big guy, and had gotten into plenty of fights. She was just too small. Yes, the hits that she managed to get in could have done some damage, but, for him, it was very little. His wand out, he cast a stupefy as a feign and a body bind better aimed at her.
He had enough of this girl. Weather the spells worked or not, he shoulder rushed her, scooping her off the ground and over his shoulder. He held her wand hand away from him so she couldn't get a spell off on him and began walking towards the mansion.
"Act like a child and I will treat you like one. Now, you might as well give me your name."

After all was said and done and she was trussed up on his shoulder like a turkey she sputtered indignantly, "Put me down!" she schreeched at him, "Put me down this instant!" He muttered something about her acting like a child and she lost it, if her body weren't binded he would have had one hell of a fight on his hands as it was she settled on mutiny.
"You can't do this to people!" realizing it would do no good she shut her mouth in a tight line and thought about her next move.
