Personality: Briony is a very sweet and smart girl, but you do not want to be on her bad side. She isn't very social and has a hard time making friends, but once you're her friend you can count on her. She has a soft spot for big brown eyes and animals. She is tough but hates hurting people, so if she was in a duel she would probably lose. She is afraid of hurting people's feelings so she keeps her thoughts to herself. Though she can cause a lot of trouble, she never gets detention because she is great at playing innocent.

History: She was born during a snow storm of February 23. Her mother died giving birth to her, and her father died not soon after in a car crash. She was then sent to be raised her her cousin James and his parents. This made her very close with James, and even though they don't spend much time together at Hogwarts, they always pull through for each other.

Anything else?: She babies any animal, no matter how fierce, and can usually tame them, leading her to excel in COMC. She loves the snow and the rain, but isn't too fond of the sun because it makes her feel hot and uncomfortable. She is scared of heights and darkness.

2. You state that your character is a cousin of James Potter, which is not canon. Although I am not completely strict about such issues, I would have preferred for you to check with me first. We had a bad experience involving a non-canon relative of a major canon character, so we need to be convinced that you can make it work. I am not convinced at this point, but I won't completely disallow it until you have completed the correct application. I am, however, especially concerned about the fact that she lived with James and his family. Because our James is well-established as a character, such a major change would drastically alter the way that character is played, so I will have to disallow that part of it.

3. You did not finish your weaknesses. One weakness is not enough. You need to show that your character is not too perfect, that she has flaws like a real person would.

4. Because you used the wrong application, there is no RP sample. I absolutely need to see an RP sample... please follow the directions on the application I posted above to create your RP sample.

5. Both the Personality and History sections are a little short and don't give me a real feel for the character. Really think about what she's like, what she's been through, how she feels about things. What makes her happy? What are her interests? I need to see a little more so that I can see she's a fully-fleshed out character.

Please make these changes using the correct application form and I will reconsider your application.
