Two down.
And the remaining sister that would win Rabastan his bet was going to be the hardest one to crack. She should have been the easiest, really, since he knew her better than the other sisters, but that was the problem. They knew each other a little too well to fall to simple games. And unlike Callie, who had a wall around herself to make her seem tough when he was now positive she was not, and Bobby who just craved any kind of attention, Linny didn't have a weakness that he could grab on to and sink his teeth into. He was still sure he could get a kiss out of her, it just wasn't going to be easy.
In fact, as he saw her duck inside Honeydukes, he already ruled it out for happening today. He was going to have to wear her down.
Unable to pass up the opportunity, Rabastan looked to his left and hurried across the street, entering the shop a few moments after her.
He spotted her quickly, towards the back. Of the three of the girls, she was the easiest to spot because she always looked the most glamorous. In seconds, he was behind her, just within the appropriate bubble of personal space, and he reached up, grabbing a bag of what he remembered being her favorite. "You always did have an impeccable taste for the sweeter things in life."

Linette walked into Honeydukes on a mission. She wanted chocolate and sugar quills. She was debating between Chocolate Frogs and chocolate lollipops when a voice creaped in her ears, making her jump and spin around.
"Rabastan!" Linette almost growled. "What do you want?" She glared at him. She looked in his hand and saw he was carrying a bag of raspberry flavored sugar quills, her favorite. Of course he remembered...

She didn't reach for the bag of quills, but he didn't bother to let that stop him, or even deter him in the slightest. He was still actually trying to figure out how to approach this situation with her- he'd successfully won her over once. He never tried for a second time, if he was honest. Well, except with Andromeda.
His smile only softened at her harsh tone. "I don't want anything, Linette. You're awfully quick to assumptions. I saw you, I saw the quills, I had memories. Cut a guy some slack." That was all he needed for a foot in the door- just a little slack.
"Where are your sisters? I'm not really used to seeing you without them these days."

She had felt bad for snapping until he mentioned her sisters, then her defensive side kicked in again. "What do you want with them Rabastan?" she asked, her eyes glaring slightly. "Besides, I'm sure you've talked to Bobby more than I have lately," she mentally slapped herself for saying that. She didn't want it to come off like she was upset that Bobby was spending time with Rabastan. Somehow it would get back to Bobby and they'd fight about it, just like they had bickered before about the youngest triplet spending too much time with Lestrange.
She walked past him and grabbed another bag of quills off the shelf, ignoring the ones in his hand as she brought them to the counter to pay.
