Annabeth totally agreed with her. ''Aline is right, you will see, it's not scary at all. You won't regret it, I promise.'' She really wanted Pippa to come along with them, it was nice to get her out of her comfort zone for once. Annabeth remembered the first time she broke a rule, she was just as scared as Pippa was at the moment, but breaking the rules were getting easier and easier each time she broke one. She didn't regret anything she did, in fact, she was only getting worse. And at the moment she was dragging two girls into it. She should probably feel bad about this, she didn't want them to get in trouble just because they come along with her, but she was also glad she finally found company of her year.

But Pippa wasn't convinced. She was absolutely sure that she'd be the one to trip on a root and twist her ankle and then get attacked by angry centaurs. Or werewolves. It wasn't a full moon tonight, right? She wished she could remember the moon phase chart she'd made for her astronomy homework...
"I don't know. What if we get lost? Or hurt? Or we discover a den of giant spiders living in the forest? I mean, it's got to be forbidden for a reason, right? It could be dangerous."

"That won't happen to us," Annabeth said convinced. ''Come on Pippa, it will be fun.'' She pouted and looked at her with puppy eyes, hoping it would work.
