Kelebek smiled again. She found it polite. "Thank you, Minister." She went to follow him to her department. She was really going to like this job...

Vincent smiled and led the girl out of the office. On the way out, he turned to his secretary and assured her that he'd be right back.
The walk down to the Department for International Magical Cooperation was a long one, and it seemed even longer, because they were constantly stopped by Ministry workers who wanted to say a quick hello to the Minister. Vincent made it a point to introduce Kelebek to each one of them, although he still continued to bungle her last name.
Finally they reached the office where the Department for International Magical Cooperation was located. "Here's the office where you'll be working," he explained to her. For the moment, no one was in sight, so he couldn't do much more than show her around.

Kelebek enjoyed the long walk down to her new office. She shook everyone's hand and said her last name more than twice. She went into her office and turned to the Minister. "Thank you sir. So, this is where I'll be working?" She often wondered if she would get to travel...

(Hope you don't mind if I join, since I work in your department..)
Sitara was having one of her better days. Though she was often frustrated with her job and wished for a different life, there were times, like today, when everything seemed to come together. She'd been working on a rather frustrating case involving illegal imports of acromantula venom from Brazil. It had passed across multiple countries unchecked, and the various governments didn't seem interested in taking any kind of initiatives to stop it. But today, at last, she had managed to get six countries to approve stricter import laws and to ban apparation beyond country borders without checks. It was a small step... but an important one nonetheless.
Feeling satisfied, Sitara walked back into the office, not even noticing at first that she wasn't alone. She sank down at her desk and leaned back on her chair. That was when she noticed the Minister himself standing there, with an unfamiliar young woman.
"Oh, I'm sorry, Minister Corrigan. I didn't see you there. Can I help you with something?"

Vincent smiled at Sitara. He didn't know the woman very well, but he knew that she was a good worker. Mr. Crouch spoke very highly of her.
"Good afternoon, Ms. Mehti," he greeted her. He was lucky that her last name was easy to say, because he could never remember her first name properly. "I would like to introduce you to Ms. Deg... Degir... Degermechi? No... Uh, Kelebek. She's new here and is going to be working in your department. I hope the two of you will get along."

Kelebek smiled at the woman the Minister as Ms Mehti. "Kelebek Degirmenci. Pleasure to meet you." She added a smile at the end. Her jaw was aching from this smiling at Ministry Officials. Her arm was also aching from shaking hands, and some people have hard grips. She reached out to shake the woman's hand...

Sitara smiled warmly and shook the woman's hand. Silently, she looked over the young woman who was standing in front of her. She seemed pleasant enough, and she was sure that the Minister wouldn't have chosen her for the position if he didn't think she would be good at it. Sitara was glad for the help; sometimes it seemed like she was the only one in her department.
"It's nice to meet you, Ms. Degirmenci. You can call me Sitara. I must say, I'm really glad to have someone else to help out around here. Mr. Crouch is away very often, and most days, I'm all alone."

"Call me Kelebek. Well, hopefully, I can do something for the deaprtment but that's what we all want. So, with me talking in such a strange way, we all put in a great impact on the department. Ow, my head hurts from all of my confusing talking stuff." Her head did genuinely hurt but she didn't mind. She smiled...

Vincent smiled with approval. It seemed that his new employee was fitting in very well with her coworker. it was important to him that they were able to get along, and now he wasn't worried.
He cleared his throat lightly and gave a little nod in their direction. "I'm glad to see you two are making yourselves acquainted. If you'd like, Miss... uh... Kelebek, I can leave you here to talk with Ms. Mehti, and she can tell you a little more about the job. You don't mind, do you, Ms. Mehti?"

Sitara shook her head. It just happened that the timing was right--she had just finished an assignment and was in between projects for the moment. Now that she would have a little more help around the office, she could certainly take a little time to show the new girl around.
"It's no problem, Minister Corrigan," Sitara replied. "I can talk to her a little bit about the job and the office procedures and all that. And when I'm done, I can show her out."
She turned back to Kelebek. "You're not in a hurry, are you? If you want, you can sit down and I'll get you a cup of coffee."

Kelebek liked the idea of coffee. "I''m not in a rush, so yeah, I'll have some coffee please." She smiled again, her jaws were aching. She followed the woman ready to listen to her explain about the job. She gave a polite goodbye to the Minister and went with Ms. Mehti....

"Great," Sitara said, smiling. She nodded at a chair across from her desk. "Have a seat. I'll be right back."
She yawned slightly; it had been a long day and she'd accomplished quite a lot already. It actually felt like a nice change of pace to get the chance to sit down and talk to her new co-worker. The coffee would help, too.
They had a small coffeemaker in the far corner of the office, and it was usually better quality than what they had in the cafeteria. She poured a cup for herself and one for Kelebek, then set them on a tray with cream, sugar, and a few biscuits that someone had brought in for her this morning.
She brought the tray over to her desk and set it down. "Help yourself," she said, going over to sit on the other side of the desk.
