Personality: Duncan is the sweet, nerdy best friend every girl should have in her life. He loves fantasy and science fiction books, his favorites being Tokien and Asimov, and some Vonnegut. He'll also admit to loving comic books and magic shows. In fact, it was his love of magic that first brought him to his best friend, the little girl who could make the flowers dance.
He's sweet and shy around most people until they get to know him. Once they get to know him, they'll find that he's goofy and silly and an incredibly loyal friend. it can be easy to take advantage of Duncan, because he'd do anything for his friends, and he can be a bit naive at times, believing people are his friends when they're really not. He has a sunny, optimistic view of life, and is inclined to believe the best in people until they prove him wrong.

History: Duncan was born in England, to two loving parents of Scottish decent. His mother was a school teacher, and his father was a business man. It was his mother who taught him a love of reading and fantasy by reading to him constantly--mostly fairy tales and stories of magic and kings and knights. When Duncan was only five years old, he always said that he wanted to be a knight when he grew up.
When he was eight, he met a little girl who could do something curious. She could make the flowers dance. It scared the other children, but not Duncan. He loved it. He would sit and watch happily,and never ran away. It was magic, he knew that, but he wasn't afraid of it. They became the best of friends, and he told her about his favorite books and stories, and she told him about magic once she started Hogwarts. He never told anyone else, and it was kind of their little secret.
Through the years, as he went to muggle school and she went to Hogwarts, they stayed close, and sometimes they would even send owls to each other. What she didn't know was that somewhere along the line he fell in love with her, and doesn't know how to tell her. Now he attends a local university and is on track to become a muggle doctor, but he's still a big kid at heart.
He still thinks of himself as her knight in shining armor, protecting her secret from people who wouldn't understand.
Anything else? I should point out that, although I now have all three of the main cast members of Doctor Who as characters, I have actually only seen a few episodes. LMAO.
