Friends and Flowers (Lorelei's friends)

"Oh wow."

Nathalia did not expect Marcy to get involved in this conversation, and part of her eart sank, actually. "Whose Noah?"

She thanked Merlin for the dark sunglasses on her face, and the coffee she hid behind by sipping. So much for a girls day next time. It was fine if it we one or two guys, but now that it looked like Nathalia would be the odd one out, she was already deciding that she was going to miss that meet up. She'd be busy or sick or something.

Merlin, maybe it was time to run off to New York or somewhere. She always wanted to see Vienna.

She sighed very quietly, wishing she could act happier for the three of them. She sank to the bench and waited for Marcy to go on. She obviously wanted to be asked about it.

Victoria was probably the only one who noticed it. When Marcy blurted out her own happy news, Victoria's eyes went directly to Nathalia. Both Marcy and Lorelei were a lot more innocent in some ways. Lorelei had never really had any other guys in her life except for Duncan and Marcy had never really dated much at all, but Victoria had gone through a wild stage of her own. She understood Nathalia a little better than the other two did, and that was why she was so concerned about her. And while the prospect of a relationship with Daniel was interesting, Victoria didn't really expect much from it at this point. It was far too early to get her hopes up for anything. She wasn't a wide-eyed optimist like the other two, and she knew how easy it was to fall into a pattern of mostly empty relationships.

She made a mental note to pull Nathalia aside later on and just let her know that she understood. There had to be someone out there for Nat.... but Victoria also knew that Nat had to find him for herself. She also knew that Nathalia probably didn't want to hear any advice, but maybe a sympathetic ear might help.

Turning her attention back to Marcy, she smiled and added, "Yeah... tell us about Noah. He sounds cute..."
