ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER
Character Name: Siobhan (pronounced Shih-VON, for those who aren't sure) O'Hurley
Character Age: 24
Appearance:
- Brief Description: Siobhan might be described as looking like "strawberry pie," with her long, light red hair (sort of a strawberry blonde), and pale, lightly freckled complexion. She is small, with a short, thin frame, but her bright eyes and smile make her seem a larger presence than she really is.

- Hair (color, length, style): Long red hair, usually worn straight and flowing, although sometimes she pulls it back
- Skin Tone: pale, lightly freckled
- Height: 5'4"
- Body Type: slim
Celebrity Claim (make sure you post in the Celebrity Claim list as well, and make sure your chosen celebrity is available): Jessica Chastain
Profession: Still working on that... but I'm thinking no profession. I think she might be a mental patient (but she's NOT crazy!)
Strengths:
- warm and friendly nature
- very nurturing
- good sense of humor
- not afraid to stand up for what she believes in
- very loyal to the people she cares about
Weaknesses:
- sometimes flighty
- can be forgetful
- a bit too trusting
- sometimes gets defensive if she thinks someone's getting too close
- occasionally lashes out for no apparent reason
- seemingly irrational fear of dogs
Personality: (at least 4 sentences) It might seem that Siobhan has two personalities. On the surface, she is sweet, warm, and caring. She always seems to see the beauty in the world around her, and she believes that most people are really good. She's trusting to a fault, and loyal to the few people in her life that she considers friends. She loves to laugh and have fun and is generally a lot of fun to be around.
But there is another, seemingly opposite side to Siobhan. She has sudden, unexplained bursts of anger and lashes out at people, especially those she doesn't know well. She can be fearful and defensive, pushing people away when she thinks they're getting too close (emotionally, not physically). Sometimes she shuts down completely, and when this happens, no one can reach her.
Most of the time, she is friendly and caring and wouldn't hurt a fly. She has memory problems, and sometimes forgets where she puts things or whether she did something that she was supposed to do. When her memory is particularly bad, she will usually have a severe headache.
One thing you will almost never see her do, however, is cry. For reasons she can't even explain, she simply cannot cry, even when she's sad about something. She's more likely to become angry and lash out in these times, because she wants to cry and can't.

History: Siobhan was born in Ireland, in a small wizarding village, to pureblood parents. Right from the start, her life was troubled, because her mother died shortly after her birth of an aneurysm, and her grief-stricken father died only a few months later of alcohol poisoning. Orphaned before she was six months old, she was taken in by another pureblood family in the same village. But their actions were not altrustic. In fact, the new family happened to be among Voldemort's earliest supporters, before they were even called Death Eaters. One of Voldemort's followers was a doctor who had an idea of helping Voldemort by raising an army by training children from a very early age, when they were easier to control. Because Siobhan was pureblood, she was an ideal candidate for the project.
The idea was that the children would be trained in fighting, dark magic, and murder, then the memories would be shut down and triggered at a later time, making them "sleeper" agents. This way they could go about their lives as seemingly normal children once they began school, and they would be able to position themselves in normal jobs until it was time to "awaken" them.
Siobhan was barely old enough to speak when she began learning combat techniques. The dark magic came a little later. She and other children like her were trained in a secret, Unplottable facility. It was at that facility that Siobhan met Nikola. Though the children were not supposed to be friends with each other, Siobhan and Nikola found themselves drawn to each other in ways no one could have expected. Both smart children, they began to question what they were doing. It didn't feel right to them. Through their friendship, the humanity that the trainers were trying to take from them began to build and spread, and they started to rebel, first in small ways, and then in larger ones. When the trainers figured out what was happening, they attempted to separate the two children, but they always found ways to communicate with each other. And the harder they tried to keep them separate, the more they rebelled, until finally, they staged an outright insurrection, having managed to recruit half of the other children.
They were disciplined terribly, and Siobhan still bears the scars from this. Finally it was decided that the project was a failure. Most of the children were turned out on the streets, wiped of their memories.
Siobhan remembers none of her past before she was ten years old. That is when she was found on the streets of Godric's Hollow, and was taken in by a kindly family, the O'Hurleys. All she remembered was that her name was Siobhan, so they kept the name.
From here, Siobhan's life was easier. She seemed like a normal child, except that she was prone to occasional violent outbursts. She went to Hogwarts, like any other child, but was advised not to return after her sixth year, due to the escalation of her violent episodes. She had trouble out of school, too, and couldn't seem to keep a job. The decision was eventually made to have her committed for a time to the psychiatric ward at St. Mungo's, where she has been for 5 years now.
Her "trigger" is still active....
Anything else? If Rutger finds out about this, he will FREAK. The story sounds a lot like what he went through... except, you know... minus the Nazis.
