Personality (At least 4 sentences, but longer is preferred): Pippa is pretty much the perfect example of a Hufflepuff. She's sweet and gentle, with a caring heart and sensitive nature. She's nice to everyone, even when they're not nice to her. As a result, she can sometimes be taken advantage of by people who aren't as nice as she is. She's loyal to her friends, and trusting of just about everyone. She's not afraid of people, because she believes in her heart that most people are inherently good inside.
She does get upset if she sees animals being hurt, and sometimes this is where her strength shines through. She'll go out of her way to help an animal, even putting herself in danger, and doesn't think about the risks to herself.
Because she is a sensitive soul, she takes insults and teasing rather hard. She won't let anyone see her cry, though. She'll run away and cry on her own, rather than showing weakness in front of anyone who's hurt her. But if that same person were to apologize, she would forgive them with no questions asked.

- Mother: Beth Howard, 36
- Father: Jefferson Howard, 38
- Siblings (if any, list names and ages): Betsy, 7

History (At least 4 sentences): Pippa was born in a very normal family in Northern England. Her father was a banker, her mother was a baker. No, really. Pippa spent a lot of time at her mother's bakery as a young girl, and in fact, helped her mother perfect her chocolate chip cookie recipe when she was only 6 years old. She went to muggle school, of course, and had a couple of friends, but there was always something that didn't feel right. Pippa didn't realize it, but she was showing signs of magic from a very early age. She used magic when she 'accidentally' spilled a bit of almond extract in the chocolate cookie batter. And she used magic everytime her mother tried to tame her wild red curls. And when a boy in her class tried dunking her hair in a tub of paste, she used magic to make the paste blow up in his face.
But no one ever realized that she was doing these things; that is, no one noticed until her Hogwarts letter arrived on her 11th birthday. Pippa's parents were a bit surprised by it all, but, despite being perfectly normal people, they were excited to learn that their daughter was a witch. They happily sent her off to school and they ask her to tell them everything she can about Hogwarts. She writes them often, and every time she sees something new, she can't wait to tell them about it.

The class was buzzing with the chatter of students as they entered the room and began greeting their friends. Professor Slughorn was seated at his desk, leaning back and nibbling on some crystallized pineapple. To all the world, it would have appeared that he was not paying attention to anything that was being said. Of course, that was not the case.
Slughorn's finely tuned ear was listening for any interesting tidbits of information that might involve the influential parents of certain students. It must have been a slow news day, though, and he heard very little of interest. He waited a few minutes, trying to hear what the Black boy in the back of the room was saying to his friends. Finally, when he was satisfied that there was nothing to hear and that all the students were in the room, Slughorn sat up and looked around the room.
"Now, then, students," he began, clearing his throat. "Can anyone tell me which parts of the dragon are used in potions? You there... do you know the answer?"
Pippa, unfortunately, had not been paying attention. She had been leaning far to the left, trying to hear what Sirius Black was saying. It wasn't that she had a crush on Sirius Black or anything like that, but she did find him and his friends very interesting. They were popular, after all, and they always had such interesting, lively conversations. She was sure they were planning some kind of prank that would have been very entertaining.
But whatever they were planning, Pippa never got to find out. Professor Slughorn started talking, and before she even realized it, he was calling on her with a question! If only she actually heard what it was.... something about dragons?
"Er... yes, sir. I mean... no, sir. I mean... what was the question?"
Anything else?
