Angelina Smith wouldn't go back to her Aunt and Uncle's house for break. She honestly couldn't stand them so she stayed in the streets. She was looking for a place to stay, so she walked into a Boarding House. She practically skipped up to the front counter.
"Excuse me, but I'm looking for a rather cheap room. Just a place to stay for a while, I can pay. I have money saved up." Angelina said quietly to the old lady at the front desk.
"What, from your piggy bank? You look a little young, maybe you should go home to your moommy and daddy. You need a liscense to get a room here!" Okay, sio she was a mean old lady.
"THEY"RE DEAD!" Angelina screeched, causing many people to look over. The old woman studied her for a minute, then replied.
"I gots an old attic. I 'spose you could stay up there. 'Course, you gots to pay. You just don't look like some madhouse killer to me. It'll be 75 a week. Now, off you go. Come back tonight and it'll be ready for you." The old lady whispered. Angelina smiled. The gracious old lady. She mouthed, thank you. Then she sat at a couch in the lobby and looked at the People magazine.
