- Brief Description: Gemma has short brown hair that she usually has it styled on the side. She keeps it short so that she doesn't have to deal with it while she is playing quidditch. She also is of average height with the typical pale British skin tone. Gemma never wears makeup.

Personality: Gemma is actually a fairly open person. If any question is asked, she’ll give an honest answer. Sometimes that answer could be too honest, but she has always believed in honesty is the best policy. She never pretends to be someone she is not. There is no sense in trying to act one way for someone, while you really are the opposite. Gemma firmly believes in what you see is what you get. She doesn’t think about what she looks like because her main focus is on quidditch.
Although her main focus is on quidditch, Gemma can make friends fairly easily. She gets along better with guys, however. She always thought that guys made better friends because they never really judged you like girls would do. Sure, she has a few female friends, but the majority of her friends are guys. As a result, she is a tomboy. If the guys can do it, she can do it.

History: Born and raised in Appleby, England, Gemma grew up around Quidditch. The Appleby Arrows were the hometown heroes because that was where they were located. The Appleby Arrows were Kenneth’s favorite team, so it grew to be Gemma’s as well. Kenneth would always take Gemma to go see the team practice and would take them to their games.
Being a Ravenclaw, Gemma was smart. She was the chaser on the Ravenclaw quidditch team. She decided that being a chaser was her best position because she liked to be in the middle of it all. She liked the thrill of flying fast on a broom and attempting to score points. Of course being a chaser was dangerous, just like any position because of the bludgers that would come flying at you, but that added to it all. She was a thrill seeker in school and quidditch was mainly what she was about.
Gemma never dated in school. She made a lot of guy friends, however. She got along with them a lot better than she did girls. Wearing the skirts that were required for girls bothered her like no other. Gemma never liked wearing skirts, in fact she wasn’t even exactly sure how to act like a girl. She understood the concept of the manners, which she used, but other than that, she was rough and tough like the boys. She always felt that she could be herself around the guys. Gemma never paid attention to anything more than friendship, and she still hasn’t.
She already knew what she wanted to do with her life. She didn’t want to go to work at the Ministry or become a healer; she wanted to become a quidditch player for the Appleby Arrows. Right after she graduated, Gemma returned home and tried out for the Appleby Arrows. Much to her excitement, she gained a chaser position. Being a chaser for the Appleby Arrows was her dream and now she’s just living day to day.
