Personality: Kayri is very outgoing and personable. She is very friendly, but in a calm way. She hates speaking above a quiet talk, only raising her voice when something truly bothers her. She is a bit of an eccentric, liking odd things and collecting random objects from all over.

History:
Kayri was raised on the road. Her family was a part of a traveling carnival that toured all over Europe and the British isles. She was technically born in Romania but, a month after her birth, was in Germany. She has been performing with her family since before she could walk.
In the Carnival, magic either came to you or it didn’t. Her Grandmother, for instance, was rather adept at magic, especially divination. But her mother had little magical talent, only being able to do very simple levitation and prestidigitation tricks. Her father had no magical talent at all. But her brother was very talented. It was accepted there. Easily hidden under the illusion of the circus.
Velkan was recruited into Durmstrang the month Kayri was born. There, he studied diligently until he graduated and reunited with his family. Every holiday and break, he would spend it traveling Europe with the caravan, playing with his baby sister.
Kayri showed magical talent at a very young age. She was 4 when she was first allowed around the fire eaters and spinners. There, they were blowing fireballs into the air without the use of magic at all, just a trick to the eyes. Only when one of their fireballs turned into the shape of a fiery bird did they realize that the little girl had the talent.
For them, it was just another trick to use in the circus. Her grandmother, who had been trained in magic by her grandmother, decided that she would personally oversee the training of her granddaughter. Romania had no school for girls in magic, Beauxbatons she felt was too prissy, and they only passed through the British Isles occasionally for shows. So she was trained on the road in magic.
When she came of age, at 17, the family was performing in England out in the hills. She was performing with them when she met a wizard watching the show. She decided to leave the circus behind in order to stay with him. She fell hard and fast for him. But it was not to be. He treated her poorly, had ripped her away from her family and then abandoned her. With the caravan already having left the British Isles, there was no way to catch up to them. She was stuck.
Now, she makes a living working at The Royal Dragon in Hogsmeade as a waitress (can be changed, but if its cool to stick with this, please let me.) and as a performer around the area.
