Hi, there. I have a number of problems with this application, and I'm afraid I'm going to have to turn you down for now.

1. Right off, your character's name is a problem. While there's nothing wrong with the name Miley, the fact that you want to use Miley Cyrus as your playby indicates to me a lack of creativity. You can use one or the other, but not both. Give her a different name. Also, I would rather you not use the last name of a prominent canon character without explanation. If it's something common, that's understandable, but Lovegood is an unusual name. And if you wanted to be related to the Lovegood family, you would have to clear that with me first, as it states in the rules.

2. You only listed 4 weaknesses, when I asked for 5.

3. This is a Marauders Era site, which means that it is set in 1973. This is clearly stated at the top of the page, in the little box that says "Plot." So The Jonas Brothers do not exist yet; in fact, they haven't even been born. "The Last Song" hasn't been made yet (and you really shouldn't use a favorite movie starring your own playby, anyway), and The Notebook hasn't been written. Remember that I am looking for your character's favorites, not yours, and they should be appropriate to the time of the board. For example, if she would like the Jonas Brothers, maybe she would be a fan of The Partridge Family. A movie like Love Story might be similar in tone to The Last Song. For a better idea of the music, films, and books that might be around during that time, check Wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1973_in_music en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1973_in_film en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1973_in_literature (although certainly anything before 1973 would also be accepted).

4. What is China? Do you mean Chinese Food? Maybe list a specific dish that she likes?

5. I've just noticed that you completely skipped an entire section of the application. Where are the quirks and habits? I don't know if you deleted that by accident or on purpose, but I really do need you to fill out ALL the areas of the application (unless they state that they are optional), not just the ones that you want to do. It's there for a reason... describing quirks and habits will help give your character depth and make her more unique.

6. There are numerous problems with spelling in this. There is a spell check button next to the Post button, and it is strongly recommended that you use it.

7. You have a tendency to drop off at the end in places, and not put a period at the end. It gives the impression that you aren't finished. You may want to work on that.

8. The overall character lacks depth. It's OK if she's happy and energetic, and she can even be shallow if that's what her character is, but even in shallowness, there is depth, something she's holding in. The character as you've described her seems flat and one-dimensional. What are her secrets? What are her fears? No one is that happy all the time.

I'm sorry to say, but I don't think you'll be a very good fit for our board at this time.
