Character Name: Raphael “Milo” Chevalier

- Brief Description: Milo is an older gentleman who still thinks he is fairly young sometimes. He is fairly good looking and tries to use his looks for the ladies. He keeps his hair black and combed. Rarely does he go with a ‘messy’ sort of look.

Personality: Simply put, Milo is a ladies’ man. He is good looking, especially for his age. He likes to still think he’s young and he likes to have fun. Maybe it is just the kid in him that likes to continue to joke around and just have fun. Of course, there is also the possibility that he is doing it just to cover up his past. Milo likes to make people feel good about themselves, no matter the situation.
He is like his friend Joe, he is the type of person people likes, but doesn’t know too much about. Milo tries to keep it that way. He likes the distance and not letting anyone too terribly close to him.

History: Milo was born in Chicago, Illinois. His mother Beth and Kenneth were fairly religious muggle people, which is how he got his first name, Raphael. They thought that one day Milo was going to grow up to be some sort of warrior, and that was what he did become. It came to a shock to them when Milo was a young boy and started being able to do magic unexplainably. Instead of thinking that he was doing some sort of Satanic thing, his parents thought that it was a blessing. They thought that God had given them a blessed child who could do wondrous things. Beth and Kenneth encouraged Milo to continue on with his talent and go on to the special school.
During school, Milo met Katie O’Hara. She was a feisty girl, that was for certain. All during school, Milo had his eyes on her and wanted her. He was quite the ladies man during school, but there really was that one girl he wanted. During his seventh year, he was actually able to finally have his dream come true. Katie finally met him half way and they started dating. Right after school, Milo went into his Auror training. He knew exactly what he wanted to do and his parents and Katie supported him. Milo became extremely good at his job. During training he met Joe Dean, and the two men became close friends. They even went on a few missions together. Joe was the one person that Milo counted on and could trust with his life.
On a mission that Milo went on his own, everything was going fine. He was gone for about a month, but when he returned to actually go home to rest, no one was there. Katie had left a note that said that she was going to meet with his parents that was dated a couple weeks before. Milo had preferred that Katie stay with his parents while he was gone, especially on his long trips. It was just a safety precaution since he did know that there was danger lurking around. He decided to go to his parents’ house, but no one was there. He asked the neighbors what happened and the somber expression he was given by the older lady next door said it all. She showed him the muggle newspaper and in the newspaper was an article about a horrible car accident that involved four cars. Out of those four cars, five people died, including his parents and Katie. Milo never read the whole article to really find out what happened, but he returned to his and Katie’s place. He packed all of his things and moved to London.
He still had several years left as an Auror before he could retire. The way that Milo dealt with his situation was that he hardened himself for awhile, then he did drink for awhile. Joe helped him through the situation, only to have an incident happen to his family. Milo did what he could, but he did give Joe his space when he thought he needed it. Milo had become fond of Joe’s daughter Aislinn and he started to see her as sort of part of a family he never had. He was able to put his past behind him and cover it up while trying to deal with the life he had ahead of him.
Milo went back to his ladies’ man ways and after his retirement, he became a Wizard Private Investigator. He couldn’t quite give up his talents for going after people. He actually enjoys his job.
