Personality: Iris is quite happy for a young woman that is without a mother or a father. She's very friendly and enjoys helping people. Sometimes, she's too trusting and offers to help people that only want to use her. Some people might think she's pushy when she only thinks she has the best intentions.
Some might think that she has trust issues with men. Quite the opposite. Iris never knew her father, she therefore has no personal feelings towards his leaving. Her brother was always there for her and was always the male guidance she needed. Sometimes Iris's curiosity gets the best of her. She's been in many situations where she went looking for something or found something when she knows she probably shouldn't have.

History:
Iris grew up living with her older brother and her mom. She was raised in a small flat right outside Hogsmeade Village. Her father left her when she was still in the womb and she hasn't heard from him ever. She assumes he's dead. Her mother told her that her father didn't want her to have a middle name so Iris Elliot is her full name. Her half brother is nine years older because her mother had him before meeting Iris's father. Her brother is her protector and is always checking up on her whenever he has the chance. He tries to stay involved in her life as much as he can while he's a continent away.
Her mother owned the bookstore in Hogsmeade and was killed during the first attack on Hogsmeade. Since then, Iris has taken over her store and tried to make do with what she's been given. Before she ran the store, she was hoping to become a professor at Hogwarts. Although her plans were put on hold, she really enjoys running the store.
