Celebrity Claim (make sure you post in the Celebrity Claim list as well, and make sure your chosen celebrity is available): Jason Patric
Profession: He works for his father's construction company, but he wants to be a musician.
Strengths:
- He's good at coming up with ideas...
- He has a good head for numbers
- Good at playing guitar
- He's a surprisingly good cook
- He's good with a joke...
Weaknesses:
- ...but bad at following through with them
- He's a bit of a rebel
- He can be kind of lazy
- He sometimes thinks too highly of himself, at least where women are concerned
- ...but sometimes it seems like he doesn't take anything seriously.
Personality: (at least 4 sentences) Jonah is a bit of a mixed bag. He can be extremely likable and fun to be around, or he can be obnoxious and arrogant. This is because he jokes around so much that it starts to grate on a person's nerves after a while. Trying to have a serious conversation with him is like pulling teeth. He's very smart, but he just doesn't seem to use his brain most of the time.
He doesn't really like work, especially not at his father's construction company. But he doesn't dare say no to his father, so he does what he's told. He works both the financial aspect of the business, and sometimes also works on the actual construction, although he hates this even more.
What he really wants to do is play guitar. He taught himself to play as a teenager, and he'll play whenever he gets the chance. When he plays, that is the most serious you'll ever see him... he puts everything into it.
He's really a bit of a dreamer, and is always coming up with great ideas for things--for the business, for songs... but he never seems to quite see them through. He just moves onto another idea, abandoning the old one. He has a notebook of more than 100 unfinished songs, and a file cabinet at his father's office filled with half-formed ideas that he never did anything with. His father is frustrated by this, and it causes many family arguments.
He's an outrageous flirt, of course, and women are drawn to him like moths to a flame. But sometimes he gets too full of himself, and he turns them off. He's never had a solid relationship, just a series of short flings.

History: Suzanne Wellington was a witch from a wealthy, pureblood family who fell in love with a poor muggle. It was a passionate, intense romance, and her family didn't approve. When she discovered that she was pregnant with her first child, Miranda, Suzanne ran away with Arnold, and the two eloped. Once they were married, the family couldn't separate them, but they did disown her. Arnold, meanwhile, was anxious to prove himself. He worked his way up in a construction business, and eventually was made vice-president of the company. The president left him in charge of the business when he retired, and now he runs the company himself.
Jonah was born four years after Miranda, and as the first son, Arnold gave him most of the attention, intending to groom him to take over the business when he retired. But Jonah didn't like the attention from his father, and was secretly not interested in the business. It was really Miranda who was interested in the business, but because she was a girl, Arnold was not interested in her. This made her angry and bitter toward her father.
When Stephen was born, Suzanne fell ill, dying a few months later. Arnold did not have time for the weak, needy child, and hired a nanny to take care of the children.
Miranda was, naturally, the first child to show magical powers, but Jonah soon followed. Stephen, however, never did. Both Miranda and Jonah attended Hogwarts, where Miranda was a Ravenclaw and Jonah was a Gryffindor.
The year that she graduated, Miranda had a terrible falling-out with her father and walked out, vowing never to come back. Jonah keeps in touch with her, and she is currently living in France.
When Jonah graduated from Hogwarts, his father drafted him to work in the construction business. It was supposed to be just for the summer, but when summer came and went, Arnold wouldn't let him leave. Jonah hated the job, but he didn't feel he had any other choice, so he kept working and playing his guitar in his spare time.
Stephen, meanwhile, is a quiet, sensitive young man who sometimes seems afraid of his own shadow. He shares an apartment with Jonah, who feels a certain responsibility to take care of his younger brother.
Anything else?I blame Rori.
