Character Name: Alejandro Benavides
Character Age: 25
Appearance:
- Brief Description: Alejandro wears his hair messily majority of the time. Since it is short, he just lets it go. He will run a brush through it every once in awhile. Standing at 6’1, Alejandro is fairly skinny. However, don’t let the thinness fool you. He is fairly fit because he likes to work out every once in awhile.

Personality: During school, Alejandro was a quiet child. He never really spoke up in class, but he did have his circle of friends. With that circle of friends, Alejandro was actually able to grow. Now, Alejandro still has that quiet/shy side to him, but he also has a self-confident side, especially when it comes to singing. Whatever he is feeling goes into a song and he finds that a better way to express emotion. When he is on stage, it is like he is someone else completely. He is wide open and extremely confident. Sometimes his stage presence and appear that he is arrogant. Even off stage he can give that arrogant feeling off. He has his moments when he is completely self-confident and sometimes that is just him putting up a face.
Alejandro is more of the lover than a fighter, but he knows when it is time to fight. If he has to defend something or go after it, he will without question.

History: Alejandro was born to Anita and Carmelo Benavides. He was the second child born, but the first son. Isabella, his oldest sister was only 2 years older and Eduardo was just a year younger. Eight years after Alejandro was born, his youngest brother Roberto was born as a surprise after his parents didn’t think that they could have any more children.
Growing up, Anita and Carmelo expressed how important family was. Those values grew on Alejandro and he felt protective of his family even as a little boy. His father taught him that it was better if you were a lover than a fighter, but if a fight was needed, then stand up and fight. With an older sister, Alejandro always looked at the boys that she was interested in. He liked to attempt to intimidate them from time to time. Although he was quiet, Alejandro could make his presence known when he wanted.
He started singing at age 5 and he loved it ever since. He would sing the familiar Spanish songs his mother taught him, then he started singing songs he heard from the streets. He loved the music because it was a way to express yourself. Although Alejandro went to a magic school in Spain, he continued to sing every once in awhile. He didn’t really want a job with the government like a lot of others did, he just wanted to sing.
Over the summers Alejandro would work hard and earn money. He saved every penny he had so that when he was ready to leave, he would have something with him. Wanting to make a name for himself while Isabella went into Ministry work, and Eduardo into opening his own business, Alejandro left Spain and headed toward England. Sure, he had made a name for himself in his small town, but he wanted to get out there and experience the world. Every so often he returns home to visit his family. Now Isabella is married and so is Eduardo. Roberto is too young to marry, so Alejandro gets it from his parents wondering when he was going to settle down and find a girl. He always responded that his singing came first, then his family, and then girls. He told them that he might find one along the way, but if not he would be okay with that as long as he was doing what he loved. Even though the answer seemed to satisfy his mother at the time, it didn’t last long. Every so often she still picks on him about it.
