Strengths: (at least 5)
- Very intelligent
- Caring and sensitive
- Has a way with words
- He's a true gentleman
- Very neat and clean
- Always punctual
Weaknesses: (at least 5)
- Could do with some loosening up
- Painfully shy with girls
- Sometimes stutters
- Can be clumsy at times
- He's a muggle (not that this is a bad thing, but talking to him about magic could be tricky)
Personality: (at least 4 sentences) Mason, is to put it bluntly, kind of a nerd. He loves reading, learning, and writing, and is quite at home in the classroom or the library. In the real world, however, he's a little awkward. He's never been on a date, and gets terribly tongue-tied when talking to girls. But he's also very polite and sweet. He notices things about the girls that he likes, and if he can ever get up the courage to talk to them, he gives them the nicest compliments. He'd never take advantage of a girl, and would be the type to ask if it was OK to kiss her. He's the kind of guy every father would want for his daughter.
But he's not perfect. In addition to being shy and awkward, he's not good at standing up for himself. He got picked on a lot in school, and he'd be absolutely useless in a fight. He's absolutely not a tough guy.
His aspiration is to be an English teacher, either in high school or college.

History: Mason's parents were in their 30s when they met. At nearly 35 years old, Joanne Broderick, a high school librarian, never expected to find love. That is, until the new history teacher walked into the office. Stephen Broderick, a quiet, serious man one year her junior, was smitten with her almost instantly. They found themselves flirting quite often--so much that the students had to shush them, instead of the other way around! They were married at the end of the school year, and 9 months later, Mason arrived. The pregnancy was a difficult one, and Joanne had to remain bed-ridden for most of it. When Mason was born, the cord was wrapped around his neck, and he was deprived of oxygen for 2 minutes. He almost died. Luckily, he survived, and although doctors initially warned that he might have below normal intelligence, he turned out to be just the opposite. He has near-genius level intelligence, and was already able to read by age 4.
Because of the difficulty of Joanne's first pregnancy, she and Stephen agreed not to have any more children. Instead, they lavished all attention on Mason.
He had a difficult time at school. He was so smart that the other children couldn't relate to him. He didn't have a lot of friends, and was often picked on. He was moved up a a grade when it was clear he had outgrown the schoolwork, and wound up graduating high school two years early. Since then he has been in college, then graduate school. He already had two doctorates, one in English literature, and one in American literature, and is currently working toward one in poetry as well.
Anything else? I dated a guy like this once....
