- Sense of humor (she gets it from her father)
- Defensive spells (picked it up after the incident)
- Cooking
Weaknesses:

- Fairly shy around new people (with the exception of serving them in the coffee shop)
- Doesn’t really like to talk about herself
- Always multitasks when things get busy (she sometimes forgets for a moment one the things she was doing)
- Being self-conscience about her partial hearing disability
Personality: Like her father, Aislinn is a very friendly person. She is just a little on the shy side, even at 28. A reason for that is her partial hearing loss. She is sort of self conscience about it, but she can make a joke or two about it.
As a result of what happened a long time ago, Aislinn does not trust very easily. The person she does trust completely is her father. If he thinks something is okay, then that’s okay. Once she does get to know someone, she opens a little more. Jokes get tossed around and there’s also the sarcasm that is used at any given moment on any person around.
Aislinn is more of an observer of people. People are a great interest to her because no two people are alike. They never fell to amuse her. Like her father, she’s good at advice, however she is not very good at following her own.
Family
- Mother: Sandra, deceased
- Father: Joe Dean
- Siblings (if any, list names and ages): Paul Dean, 32
- Other family members (if significant):
History: Aislinn was the youngest of the Dean children. Her father, Joe, was an auror and her mother stayed at home at lot because the children were young. Growing up, Aislinn didn’t get to see much of her father because he was always gone. Rarely was he ever home but she did love the little bit of time he was there. However, one day that Aislinn would never forget occurred. Her father was away because of his job and someone came by. It just happened to occur when the children had a break from school.
Aislinn had a bad feeling about that day. The person appeared out of nowhere and attacked the family. Sandra tried to protect them while Paul tried to protect Aislinn. Sandra never stood a chance. The person made Sandra watch the children be tortured. Aislinn would never forget the hideous laugh from the woman. Giving the children a break from the torture, the woman killed Sandra while the children watched. Wanting to leave a mark on the family, the woman tortured the children a little longer then left once they didn’t have any strength left.
It wasn’t until a week later that their father got the news of what happened. Before their father returned, Aislinn discovered that as a result of the torture, she lost part of her hearing. It scared her. For weeks and months, Aislinn still had nightmares of what happened. Soon, she was in a new school. Part of her didn’t want to be there. She was still scared of what happened and she was still jumpy. People sometimes scared her, especially if they came up unexpectedly.
She only made one close friend, one who didn’t think her much different and she was truly grateful for that. Paul and Aislinn didn’t really talk to each other. Their father tried to reach out to them in order to get closer. Aislinn knew that her father couldn’t have helped what happened and her father was really the only family she had left. Paul was going off on his own and there was nothing she could do about that. She forgave her father and decided to help him in the coffee shop since she graduated.
Aislinn has learned to deal with her partial hearing loss, but it sometimes still bothers her.
