Rebecca was tired of being around just Slytherins all of the time. She knew that it was her house and therefore she was meant to hang around them all and get to know them, but the people she really didn't like were in the common room. After ruling out the library, Rebecca decided to go to the courtyard, where she knew others would be there. Even if there weren't any people for Rebecca to talk to, she could at least watch the people. She loved doing that; she usually had a story or two to return to her friends with.
She found a bench to sit down on as she looked around her, seeing if any of her friends were out and about as well. She saw the one guy she hoped to never run into again: Logan Moore. She looked away from him quickly, hoping he hadn't seen her. He bothered her, and she didn't know why. Usually she didn't let people get to her, but when he talked she just wanted to slap him to shut him up.

Logan was bored. He had no pranking to do that day and he didn't know where his friends were. So he found his way around the castle before ending up in the court yard. There were some people around but he didn't know most of them. He did however notice one adorable blonde that he had noticed before.
Rebecca Keyser. They had their little triffs in the past and he was constantly amused by that. He walked right over to her with a big smirk on his face. "Ello Becks." He said and sat down next to her. "How are you?" He asked. He knew he would bother her but he would have fun doing it. It was his thing.

Rebecca sighed and rolled her eyes as he sat down. "Don't call me that." She said, crossing her arms and looking away from him. "I was just fine until you came along." She sneered, glaring at him.
In truth, Rebecca had a slight crush on Logan which is partly the reason she didn't stand up and walk away. She was biding her time, seeing how annoying he was going to be before saying she had some homework to do and leaving him. She would have much rather dealt with the kids in the common room or looking for her sister than sitting here and talking to Logan.
"Are your little friends not around today?" She asked.

Logan chuckled at her as she rolled her eyes and tried to act like she hated him. Even if it was true, he didn't care. She let him give her hell when he was bored so he would continue to do it. "Oh, come on. You know you like me, Becca." He said with a smirk on his face. He was a big ego type of guy but he knew how to be serious and caring towards other people. Like his sister and his best friends.
He sighed. "Nah, not sure where they are today. Probably doing something stupid." He said with a shrug. "But its ok. Gives me some time to spend with you." He added with a wink. He loved their little squabbles and enjoyed everytime she would roll her eyes at him. "So what are you up to today?"

Rebecca's mouth hung open at his statement. "Logan, believe me. I do not like someone as immature and absolutely disgusting as you! There are far better students in my own house, not someone as stupid as a left-over like you are! Like everyone in Hufflepuff is!" She said, and turned away from him.
She rolled her eyes and turned back to him at his next question. She really didn't want to deal with him today, not with his stupid smile and his absurd remarks. She wished she could just walk away, but if she kept walking away from all of her problems nothing would ever get done in her life.
"Well, if they're doing something stupid you should be with them. And I simply came out here to get some air and get away from some of the first years in my common room, but that was a mistake. You are no better than the eleven year olds." She said, glaring at him.

He grinned at her, ignoring her insults. Her words hurt him when she called him "left-overs" but he didn't show that it bothered him. He was rather good at concealing his emotions. He merely laughed it off. "You're one of those Slytherin Snobs aren't you? It wouldn't mean anything to you if I had been placed in Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw or especially Gryffindor. I'm not Slytherin so you automatically don't like me. "He shook his head and "tsked". "You really shouldn't be so closed minded."
He loved their quarreling and he knew she did too, whether she would admitt it or not. He put a hand over his heart and mock-gasped, pretending to be offended. "I am not as immature as an eleven year old.... I have the mentality of at LEAST a thirteen year old." He said and grinned. "Oh come on, Becca. Just talk to me. Don't you get tired of always fighting with me?" He loved pushing her buttons. It was a game to see how many comments he could get in before either getting hit or making her walk away. He always hoped that one day she would get off her high horse and just be friends with him though.

"I am not close minded, Logan Moore! I simply know what I like and you are not one of them!" Rebecca said, raising her voice a little. Sure, she would admit to herself that she only liked Slytherins most of the time, but she didn't mind a couple of students in Ravenclaw, at least not the ones that helped her study whenever she caught them in the library.
"Well, I wouldn't even give you that. You're eleven and nothing you do will ever change that." She pouted. "I am talking to you, can you not hear anything but your own voice. Merlin, Logan, I cannot stand you! I get tired of seeing you, how about that?" She said, and stood up. "I need to go to the library and don't you dare follow me, Logan! And don't call me Becca. We are not friends!" Rebecca added.

"See, now you're just lying to yourself." He glanced around for someone. "Let me see you be nice to that Ravenclaw over there and I'll believe you." He said, pointing to his red headed Ravenclaw friend, Julia Dupree. He knew she wouldn't mind if he used her as an example. They were friends and she would help him prove a point if he needed her.
He laughed then and shook his head. "And you keep lying to yourself. You know you wish you had my attitude. Maybe if you took that twig out of your arse, you'd have the same confidence as I do." He said with a smirk. He shook his head and stood up. "Oh, what a surprise. I really do need to get started on that potions essay. I'll come with you Becks." He said, purposefully not listening to her. He had too much fun with this. She was just too easy to screw with. He ran his hand through his dark hair and watched her curiously, waiting to see if she would explode on him this time.
