Personality (At least 4 sentences, but longer is preferred): Rose is a very unusual person. Sometimes she comes off as being bubbly, energetic, and cute. Her professors in school all adored her and had very high hopes for her future success. But other times, she could be a downright snob. It almost seemed like she was two different people; one day she could smile at you and have a nice talk, and the next, treat you like so much dirt on her shoe. The reason for this is not known, but the general consensus among most of her peers was that she was basically a b!tch, and wouldn't waste time on someone if she didn't think she could get something from them.
The truth is that there truly is something not quite right with her, and there hasn't been ever since the death of her father. She does not talk about him, ever, and if anyone mentions him or asks about him, she genuinely loses it.
While outwardly appearing to be the brilliant, well-behaved Ravenclaw girl, Rose was actually experimenting in some pretty dark things. She started going out with a Slytherin boy (a future death eater), who taught her a lot about Dark Magic. She was drawn to it, fascinated, like a terrible drug. However, she has never used an Unforgivable. But she has used other kinds of Dark Magic, and tends to hang out with other people who use it.
She is not a Death Eater, but she is something else that might actually be more frightening. She is a Voldemort groupie. Like muggle women who are obsessed with serial killers and think they are in love with them, Rose has a rather twisted crush on Voldemort. She thinks he is misunderstood; that he is actually good, and that he just needs love. Of course if she ever actually came face to face with Voldemort, she would crap her pants, but she admires him from a distance and tends to have blinders on where his more atrocious and violent acts are concerned.
She is also drawn to other men with terrible dark sides, and has been in more than one abusive relationship. Usually, these relationships self-destruct quickly.
History (At least 4 sentences): Rose was a normal child, energetic and perky, always laughing. At first she was fond of her younger sister, Kyla, and she was very protective of her. But she was also a total Daddy's girl. Being the first child, Rose was the one who got most of the attention from their father. He often took her out on "father-daughter" days whenever he was home, and she loved these days, when her father was all hers and no one else was important. She wanted to be a reporter, just like her father, and she always looked for his approval in all things she did.
But when she was 7, everything came crashing down. Her father was killed while covering a story on dragons. Rose was completely devastated. She cried and screamed, and in her hysteria, she used magic for the first time, causing objects to fly across the room and smash against the walls. She also tried to harm herself several times, including jumping off the roof (she bounced) and trying to cut her wrist (the knife turned into a feather). She became sullen and withdrawn, and for a year, almost never even talked.
Eventually, she seemed to recover, but inside, she was deeply tormented. On a good day, she seemed almost normal. On a bad day, she became aloof and cold. Hogwarts should have been good for her, but instead, she learned to play the part of the good little girl while really getting into some very bad things. She'd never actually hurt anyone (except perhaps herself), but she is interested in learning about the Dark Arts, anyway, and she is fascinated by guys who use them.
When she first heard about Lord Voldemort, she was intrigued. Gradually, this intrigue became an obsession. She writes poems about her love for the Dark Lord, and has created a sort of "fan club" for other Dark Lord groupies like herself.
